Just a short distance off 53N. on hywy 12. The sign for the Inn needs changing as we went by the road twice before noticing the name of the street. The inn is very convenient to restaurants etc. in EauClaire but if you can, allow extra time at the Inn because it is spectacular and condusive to relaxation. The whirlpool worked beautifully and fit two comfortably. The gas fireplace added to the ambience. Happy hour was so nice with the free beverage and the oppertunity to meet other guests. It was nice Alexa was right there on the piano to play our favorite Jacky Gleason Trumpet tunes. There were a few minor upkeep issues but nothing that hampered our enjoyment of the inn. We hope to get back there soon.

Beware, do not book! My husband and I were so excited to stay here for our anniversary. One week out and we called them to change the card on file and no response back, we called again and again and again, we emailed, texted and emailed over and over and NO RESPONSE. We were so sketched out by the lack of response we decided not to go, we didn’t want to risk staying there and not having any service. The voicemail box was full. Today is the day we were supposed to check in and they were supposed to text us a code for the door and guess what!? No code was ever texted to us! Thank goodness we didn’t make the drive! Their webs says they always answer the phone which is clearly a lie!

Everything was great. Out room was comfortable, clean, and just as pictured. Self check in was easy and convenient. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and just the right portion. It was cooked to order at the time requested and served at your desired location (in your room or your choice of seating area at the inn). There was a bit of a miscommunication during our stay, but it was handled very well and resolved beyond our expectations. The only complaint would be that you can hear cars passing by on the nearby road. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. We would stay here again.

The owners treat you like family. Truly the best and safest solo vacation spot i will ever choose. Also amazing atmosphere and breakfast:) thank you Lindsey and Riah for having a wonderful safe place.

I read through a lot of the reviews AFTER we stayed here and I agree with and disagree with a lot of the less than positive ones. We had a very enjoyable time. There were minor things that would have made the place better but you get out what you put in. We went to get away, ✅We wanted a place where we could relax and be in love. ✅ We wanted a good breakfast✅. We loved the fire pit and S'mores bar, the complimentary drinks, the breakfast, the Jacuzzi, and the charm of it all. We looked past the minor inconveniences because that's just life. I would highly recommend this place to any and every person reading this. We had such a good stay that we ended up staying an extra night. Best B&B I've been to yet!!

First of all, there is a self check-in process. We never felt welcome. They can't use Covid as the reason because the following morning, there were staff members right in your face with no masks. Someone could have greeted us, wearing a mask and standing 6 feet away. The "Welcome Reception" was also self-serve from a mini fridge! When we entered our bedroom (Room 1), the rugs for the floor were still thrown on the chairs from the prior cleaning! The top half of the outlets didn't work in the bedroom, nor did the floor lamp. Incidentally, the chandelier if for looks only. It doesn't have any light bulbs in it!! The whirlpool was the strangest shaped one we've ever used. All of the jets were on the bottom and when you were in the whirlpool with the water level below the maximum level, the water would shoot out over the top of the tub onto the floor. The dial for high to low for the whirlpool jets had no difference in intensity. It was uncomfortable, so we just turned the whirlpool jets off and had a hot bath!! The shower was so small, you could barely turn around in it. This was surprising since the bathroom itself was probably one of the largest we've ever been in (apparently, it was a bedroom at one time). It even had two high-back side chairs facing the whirlpool tub. Not sure if this was for others for viewing when the hot tub was in use as no one would choose to sit in a chair to relax in the bathroom. Back to the shower; after adjusting it to the desired temperature, I started my shower. Three times during my shower, the water went from ice cold to scalding hot without turning the control knob. This place needs work. The breakfast was quite lackluster. We were served a souffle, which was delicious, along with tater tots plus a beverage. That was it!! At every bed and breakfast we've ever been to, breakfast included a muffin or pastry along with some fruit, in addition to the entree. This breakfast was very disappointing. Some directions on how to operate things would be helpful. I gave up on the sound machine/speaker in the bathroom after trying everything. After 5 minutes, I finally got a glass of cold water out of the hi-tech water dispenser in the Great Room. The staff is very unfriendly. After breakfast I went to get a cup of coffee from the Keurig machine since the pot of coffee served with breakfast had a lot of coffee grounds in it. Two staff members were in the kitchen cleaning up. Neither one said a word to welcome me or ask how I was this morning. One even had to reach in front of me at the Keurig machine to get a tray of silverware. Not a word!! All in all, we felt the least welcome at this bed and breakfast from the many that we have been to over the years. We have even been to some during Covid and were always welcomed by the owner or manager wearing a mask.

Our experience at Otter Creek Inn was outstanding. Privacy and comfort met all of our expectations. Very peaceful environment. Extremely clean. Breakfast was phenomenal. We have stayed at the Inn one other time and we are very glad that we returned. I would recommend that couples in the area get away for a weekend and enjoy a relaxing weekend away from "normal" life by taking advantage of the Inn's amenities. Call it a Couple Rejuvenation Weekend. We will definitely return to the Inn when we travel to Eau Claire in the future.

We have been wanting to visit the Otter Creek Inn for quite some time and finally found time to spend a night on New Year's Day. We stayed in the "Grand Suite" . Mixed feeling about our stay. Some good things, some bad things. Were not able to use the hot tub in our room because there was no hot water.

I was looking for a hotel on our way South. I usually start with Trivago to get an idea about what is in the area. This Bed and Breakfast was available for not much more than a hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We loved the fireplace and large bathroom. The host cooked a wonderful breakfast that was included with the room. Check out the website. Everything is just as advertised. It was dark when we arrived and I had a little trouble with the turn off the highway.

Easily my favorite bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. Immaculately clean, amazing amenities, delicious breakfast with so many choices. In absolute awe of this hidden gem. I will 100% be coming back to this amazing inn.

This is a beautiful B & B with a lovely yard. Lindsey and Riah could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The room was very comfortable, breakfast (made to order) was outstanding and the afternoon happy hour was a very nice touch. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Otter Creek Inn.

After reading many of the great reviews on this bed and breakfast we were disappointed. The lower level was very nice and clean. The upper level carpet and carpet in our room was very much in need of cleaning. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and though the bed was comfortable anytime someone moved or attempted to get out of bed it squeaked loudly. This particular suite is indeed of updating. The tile around the jacuzzi is intact but broken. In order to have privacy to shut the curtains you have to awkwardly climb on the jacuzzi tile surround. A remote controlled blind would be a great fix. The Inn is next to the freeway so traffic can be heard. Breakfast was just average and might have been better had it been hot. The shower did not have great water pressure (which I could have handled) but the water turned ice cold half-way through my shower. The toilet did not flush well either. We have stayed at many great bed and breakfasts in the past. Unfortunately, this one did not meet our expectations.

When I arrived, the host was very friendly and showed me around so I knew where everything was. The happy hour was very pleasant. As others have mentioned, there is not a lot of seating in the main room...really just one group fits around the sofa area. I think part of the charm of B&Bs is the chance to meet others, but perhaps this set up works during covid times. The room was cozy. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and he massage chair in my room was a nice surprise. Breakfast was hot and delicious and Lindsey was very sweet.

Andy is a great guy, very friendly and accommodating. Love the tack auction that's hosted here as well.

Otter Creek is a superb place to stay. They have literally thought of everything. The room was clean, austere, beautifully designed and decorated. The hot tub was a great way to destress after a long day on the road. Free drinks in the gorgeously laid out common room during happy hour, and just a lovely location. Couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay.
