Rick's has become the biggest joke ever since their son took over. We went there tonight and were pleasantly surprised to see it wasn't busy and they had open tables our entire dinner. Plus they were staffed to the gills! We were greeted by a friendly waitress, ordered our drinks, soup, salad, and fish. We got our drinks right away and our soup followed about 15 or 20 minutes later. Our salad took AN HOUR. Our waitress apologized and said she asked the cooks what was taking so long and they yelled at her (ridiculous). We then got our fish just over the hour and a half mark!!!!! Our walleye was fine, but our bluegill were disgusting. They were cold, soaked in grease, and this strange opaque gray color. We were never offered a discount to our bill and the staff acted as if they could have cared less. It's really unfortunate because this place used to be absolutely amazing and worth the wait to get in!

We really enjoyed the place overall. Service should have been much better. They have advertising for discount when you pay with cash, but I wasn't offered a discount off my $62 bill which was paid with cash. Bartender who greeted us was not very friendly, but the server who took over was amazing and offered to take our picture as we were there celebrating my son's birthday.Overall, a great atmosphere - but would like to see better, attentive, customer service...and a discount on my cash bill.

The greatest place! Such a great atmosphere. Best food. Owners are amazing. They have really great events, food specials and drinks. Highly recommend if you are in Whitewater or visiting the area!

First time getting takeout from here. Ordered two fish fry dinners to go. Arrived on time for pickup to find they had given my order to someone else. Had to wait an extra 20 mins. Otherwise fish, fries and rye bread were quite good.

Went for fish fry everyone pieces where tiny. Compared to what they used to be. The steak sandwich was so salty and tuff couldn't eat it,, my potato salad came after i was done eating waitress never asked us about the meal. The table next to us had hamburgers they looked like vegan burgers needless to say they had only eaten a couple bites and left the table,,,are there new owners? It was horrible. Experience. Never going back there again $100.00 for a meal that sucked

This was/is a very good choice. I finally found a bacon blue burger just as good as the old Belmont's. The ladies working were so kind.
