while dropping off our whitewater student we wanted dinner ... i would like to say this was a good place to eat dinner ... it wasnt, had the shepherds pie basically a ground beef skillet , not very good. hamburgers were pricy at 15 dollars ... I had the hefeweizen and it was so so, seems like it could have been much better ...

They have a great Strawberry ? lime ? seltzer which I really recommend to try at least once. Nolan is a great worker there especially when he is behind the bar. Good radler too.

Absolutely loved this place! Not only was there excellent craft beer (had the loveliest flight of them), excellent food, and excellent service, the art featuring pieces of Wisconsin and Whitewater legends and lore makes for a singular experience. Highly recommend the Blood Moon beer!

Hands down the best Mac n cheese I've ever had. The Salem Mac was FIRE and our server was amazing!! Can't wait to go back!

Not a good place. Dark and unkempt. Used napkins under the tables....medium well burger served rare....25 - 30 minut wait with only 1 other couple in the entire place....grilled onions served as onion jam?
The owner should be replaced and the cook we had should be let go...period!
Won't ever be back!

I’ve been DREAMING about their lobster Mac and cheese since last time I went! Literally some of the BEST lobster I’ve ever had, including Boston and the Caribbean! I can’t wait to go again!

Hadn't been there in a while. Our somewhat large group came in on a weeknight after a music gig. My brisket cuban was the best I've had. I'll be back for another soon.

First visit, I had the Hefeweizen and chopped salad with salmon. Beer was very good as was the salad. The ranch dressing was really good. Service at the bar was good as well.

We stopped here for a late lunch and sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helped us with samples of some of the many beers they have. I had the brisket cheddar sandwich, which was pretty good and filling. If you like craft beer, they definitely will have one you like.

What a fun and exciting experience! I visited with my friends and the restaurant was incredible. The service was wonderful and we had Sarah as our waitress. She was witty, funny, and communicative. The food was delicious. I had the Wisconsin burger with added lettuce and tomato with Brussels as a side. I also had an opportunity to try the cheese curds with my friends. It was incredible and I highly recommend this place to anyone who passes by or is local.

I was really excited about having Lunch at this place. We walked in and we are seated right the way. We waited for service about 18 minutes on our table. We saw the bartender and waiter going about their business even cleaning tables and taking dirty glasses away from empty tables. Unfortunately, neither the waiter nor the bartender approached us to take drink orders, we waited a bit more… after 5 minutes waiting, we realized that service patrons was not a priority at the Second Salem’s Brewery. We walked out to look for another place to eat lunch. I am not sure why the staff would service us. Maybe next time, we can meet more friendly and helpful staff. What a shame they didn’t want my business$.

The service was prompt, friendly, attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was the best bar restaurant food I've had. Highly recommend.
