This place seems to be sadly mismanaged. Came in with my family at the end of the day for an iced coffee and some bakery items. There was a single young lady working the counter. We placed our order and I went to use the restroom while we waited for the coffee (bakery items were retrieved from the freezer.) Opened the bathroom door to see a foul sight of an overflowing toilet and filthy room. Told the barista that the bathroom was out of order which set her grumbling to herself. Two other customers came in and she helped them while we still stood there waiting on the one iced coffee we ordered. After attempting to be patient for several minutes I reminded her that we were waiting for our beverage to which she replied, “She was just about to make it.” Making the drink took all of three seconds and in my opinion should have been done before helping other customers as they walked in. I don’t necessarily blame the young lady who works there who seemed to be overwhelmed, but whomever owns or manages this establishment should consider having more than one staff member present to be able to handle the flow of customers and other issues (bathroom) should they arise. Will not be visiting this business again.

Hi Sweetspot team,

I usually have no problems ordering from you and have always appreciated your service, but I wanted to share that I was very upset with how things went today.

I placed an online order that included a breakfast burrito (with added onions and extras, which made it more expensive—and I was totally fine with that), a breakfast sandwich, and two hot coffees. My order was scheduled to be ready by 12:40, which I had timed carefully around an appointment.

However, the order wasn’t ready until 12:50, making me late. When I asked about the breakfast burrito, I was told you aren’t offering them anymore. I was pretty surprised and disappointed—there was no communication beforehand, and the option was still live on your website when I ordered. If certain items are no longer available, the website should reflect that, or customers should be notified earlier—not at pickup.

Instead of a refund, I was handed an “oops” card for a free sandwich. I understand policies can be strict, but this didn’t feel like a fair resolution for the inconvenience and extra cost of the unavailable item.

I hope this feedback helps improve communication and transparency moving forward. I really do like your spot and would love to continue supporting it, but today’s experience was frustrating and let me down.

I love the Red Bull soda and variety of bagel sandwiches. It’s my favorite place for breakfast on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Just stopped in to grab lunch and a coffee at The Sweet Spot in Whitewater. It used to be our favorite restaurant and coffee shop. Can someone tell me what is going on there now? It felt different than when I was a regular several years ago. There was only one employee behind the counter, and another running back and forth to the kitchen. Overall, the space looked neglected, dirty, and not inviting. Much of their equipment was not functional including the ice machine and beverage cooler. I wonder if the owners/ managers care about the impression the way they are now running their business is making on their customers? Seems they don’t care?

I stopped in while going through town wanted a hot tea and a dozen pastries. after 10 minutes standing at the counter not one of the three workers even looked at me or acknowledged me. it's too bad I was going to spend over $30 at a small bakery in Whitewater Wisconsin. guess I'll just go to kwikTrip

While the drinks and pastries were delightful, I can’t say the same about the breakfast sandwiches. My overly done bagel came out with a ready-made egg and gammy bacon. I have never seen anything like the avocado toast my mom got- A skimpy portion of avocado spread from Costco with cut up bits of “egg”. I do recommend the pastries and baked goods as well as the baked oatmeal which was bussin. I could tell they were made with love and passion. Also, I must add the there was no ice in the ice machine which was disappointing. Overall, it was a mediocre experience.

I love this locally owned cafe. I enjoy the coffee. They offer different milk options. They have devine cupcakes, a monthly special and seasonal special. My favorite cupcakes are the lemon lavender and an old fashioned. The sea salt chocolate chip cookie is my favorite cookie they have. They make soup daily, and it's delicious. So far, I've had tomato, tortellini, and a cream soup. All delicious. I recommend this place to everyone.
