Harpoon Willies: Great Spot, But Where’s the Green and Gold? I live here year-round in Williams Bay—not just for the summer sunsets or fall foliage, but through the snow, the slush, and the soul of Wisconsin. And like any true Wisconsinite, I bleed green and gold. So when I walk into Harpoon Willies on a Sunday, I expect one thing: Packers on every screen. Not Bears. Not split screens. Not a polite nod to part-time Chicago folks who pop in when the lake’s thawed. This place has the bones of a great local hangout—solid food, good drinks, and a view that makes you linger. But when it comes to football season, it feels like the TVs forgot where they are. We’re not in Lake Geneva’s tourist churn. We’re in Packers country. And if you want loyalty, look no further than the folks who shovel your sidewalks and keep the lights on in February. So here’s my plea: Harpoon Willies, honor the locals. Give us our Packers. All screens. All heart. All season. We’re not asking for much—just a little respect for the year-round crew who call this place home.

We live in Fontana and have been to Harpoon Willie's hundreds of times , I always look forward to having the broasted chicken and have always enjoyed it . The last time, about 2 weeks ago, it was horrible, as though it had been sitting out for awhile and then reheated. I just chalked it up to a bad night. We went back on Saturday, again looking forward to the broasted chicken. Again , it looked as though it had been not only reheated but no dark meat and the rest , as though it was double dipped in breading while the waffle fries were saturated in oil , not crisp at all. Harpoon Willies has always been a go to place , but after my second experience , I'm not so sure. Best Regards John Dodson

Delicious food, excellent service, and great location. We all had the Geneva Burger and it was delicious. The waffle fries are so good, so be sure to upgrade. Love the view of the lake as well.

We had a group of 8 people celebrating a 70th Birthday on Friday June 11th. We couldn’t of asked for better service then Parker B! He was amazing and needs to be commended for his amazing service and great attitude! Thank you Parker for making our night even better because of you !👏🏻👊🏻🥰

I came to lake Geneva for winter fest so I decided to stop at harpoon Willie’s. From the get go the service was terrible. My mother ordered coffee and they brought her old cold coffee. Then they were out of a particular item and the server insulted me since I asked about the item. I definitely will never be coming here again or would I recommend this place to anyone. I also ordered onion rings and sweet potato fries and they were ice cold. Never again

Service was adequate. Atmosphere is great. Food was not bad but nothing to write home about. I found it lacked in flavor. It looked great, but just didn't really deliver and I left feeling unsatisfied. We had fish tacos, a burger, and calamari. The calamari was pretty good and I would order that again. The burger and fish tacos kind of blah. The fries with the burger tasted like the oil was old. We will probably try them again but so far they get a C+ with me.

When Mars is full-up, this is a good back-up option. Their wings *used* to be so good, but they're no longer worth ordering. Even after asking them to be made 'well done', they come out not-so-great. Sure, they're "big" wings, but they have no crisp. But, this is an easy place for kids and medium-sized groups. Usually decent shot at getting a parking spot in their lot, too.

You can't go wrong with Harpoon Willie's. Every time I'm up in the bay, I make it a point to stop by to grab a quick bite to eat. With the excellent atmosphere both inside the restaurant and on the outdoor patio, the crispy delicious sweet potato fries, and a nice cocktail, Harpoon Willie's is sure to not disappoint!
Don’t stop here if it’s during Packer game. Our food was left under warmers for like 45 minutes. All of our food arrived to the table extremely cold. Had to ask the server to take our order because they were all busy watching the Packer game. Not even worth eating the food was so cold and soggy. Won’t be coming back here ever again and telling friends not to stop here.
