Went to Harpoons recently for dinner. This has been a go to place for us over the years with consistently good food, atmosphere and service. Atmosphere and service are still great, food not so much. The apps (onion rings and curds) were undersized, if that makes sense, and the portions were very small. The pizzas were a bigger disappointment. Overcooked and served luke warm, with almost no discernible cheese and a sauce that tasted like tomato paste taken straight out of the can and smeared on the crust. Harpoons, and later Privato (sister restaurant at one time across the street) had by far the best pizza in the lakes area. I'm hoping they just had an off night, we will try again. Please take this as constructive criticism

Had ordered Take out with the following order from their online service.Cheese Curds- tasted great and came with a decent side of marinara sauce.Smoke House Pulled pork(Hold the cole slaw)- the Pulled Pork was delicious. the Top bun was nice and crispy. sadly the bottom bun was a mushy mess. The fresh chips that came with it were decent but slightly flavorless. The chips tasted great once a little bit of Cajun seasoning was added.1/2 Broasted Chicken Platter(Blackened)- The chicken was great and juicy. nice sized pieces. They called to verify and sub out the regular fries with a order of waffle fries which were well seasoned and were nice and crispy. The phone call was fast and courteous.The setting of Harpoon Willie's looks great inside with all the decor and theming! I'd recommend eating there or getting takeout.Parking: Parking is on both sides of the building and street parking also if needed. The location has a lot of parking spots available.

You need a open sign... I drove by tonight I couldnt tell if harpoons was open or not. I love going there but hard to telling it's open or closed. Again I suggest at least a open sign, so people atleast now. Also keep the waffle fries.

Actually family friendly. The kids ate chicken wings and had kiddie cocktails. Parents had the rum punch, highly recommended. The lobster soup was watered down with little meat in it. Would not order that again. Desserts were good.

The grilled chicken sandwich had absolutely no flavor. Prices are okay I won a 50 Cent drink during happy hour. The chicken sandwich needs work on the flavor and the fries tasted like they were coming out of old grease. Bartender was awesome working in a lot of pain and did a great job superfriendly

Great lunch venue we found while wandering around Williams Bay. Tanya was our server, and she did a great job of making us feel welcome & well-cared-for. Lake Geneva Burger was excellent, as were the Fish Tacos and all else that came from the kitchen. We will visit again, soon.Kid-friendliness: Several multi-generational families were dining with plenty of room.
