We attended the Hypnotized event on Saturday and it was so much fun. The event space is large and the tables are well spaced so you don’t feel crowded. There are 2 bars and bathrooms. The food was better than expected given the size of the event. The band was great and there was room up front to dance…which we did the entire time. It was the perfect way to celebrate our birthdays! We highly recommend Pier 290.

I think the videos clearly speak for themselves, but let me start off by saying that when you’re coming to pier 290, you’re not paying for the food or service you’re paying for the view on the lake. The same dishwashing machine your plates, silverware, cups, pans pots etc get washed in is ALSO the same one they use to run the dirty floor mats through at the end of the night! A 10 million dollar restaurant can’t afford a second dishwashing machine? And this thing hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. You can clearly see mold growing on the inside and when it was brought up, it was shrugged off as no big deal. I genuinely believe these people are paying off their health inspector because the kitchen is filthy. Did I also mention when the sprayer/washer isn’t working they have you use a garden hose to wash off the dishes? See the first video below. Kind of disgusting. Feel free to eat here if you want but wow I wouldn’t recommend this joint to my worst enemy.

Had the pleasure of having dinner last Thursday night and the four of us had the Pre-Fixe March Menu. We ordered everything between us but the Miso Cod and Chocolate Mousse. What can I say but WONDERFUL! Our server, Cindy, always a delight and attentive.
Can’t wait to go back next week for the Cod. Keep it up team. Posted the dessert I ordered. A Spumoni “Bomb”

We had a wonderful dining experience for Brunch. The updates on the menu are a welcome change. We hope that Chef Ken will continue to bring more of his culinary expertise to the menu. We love having him at 290.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options at 290 are thoughtfully created and delicious
