Joe taking the reins from Dave at this magical place is a gift for beer lovers and human lovers - both men are amazing human beings, so this transition should be smooth and tasty. When Joe opens he plans to continue with a wide variety of small-batch craft beers, often using ingredients grown right there on the farm, and he is adding cider and wine made with apples, stone fruits, and grapes already growing on the property. I can't wait for Joe to do his thing and open it up for us thirsty folks!

Love this place! It's a bit like Cheers! I always meet new people, everyone is extremely friendly and the beer is phenomenal! Also, dog friendly. Lots of pups hanging at the brew farm. Bring a picnic if that is your thing and watch the Amish plant and harvest crops in the field next door. They also sell pure maple syrup at the Brew Farm. A great place for a relaxing evening with new friends.

Call ahead first! After driving several miles out of our way and choosing to skip a different brewery in favor of this one, we arrived to a rather unwelcoming scene. No clear signage telling us we were in the right place or where the entrance was. We parked, got out, and were greeted with a chorus of barking dogs inside the building. A man finally walked up to us and simply said, "I'm not open today. Maybe check my blog, I'm kind of random." Sorry to have missed it, but felt it was fair to warn other out of towners they may want to confirm be is actually open before heading out.

Checked out this place yesterday. I was a little unsure of what to expect because the website was kinda limited but it was one of the coolest breweries I've been to. Dave does small batch beer and is open pretty randomly so keep an eye out for the hours! The beer was pretty tasty. I had a Pryevate Eyes Pilsner! It was smooth and good. This place had some beautiful views and would definitely be cool to visit in the summer! Parking is available around the farmhouse and they have oven pizzas for sale but lots of people brought their own picnics!

We had a great first visit on Saturday. It was a little windy and wet so we were inside and would really love to come back when the weather is better and see more of the farm. That being said, the beers we tried were good, there are frozen pizzas if you need sustenance (but lots of people brought their own snacks, including some who shared their fresh cheese curds with us!). I brought my dog and he was welcomed. I kept him on a leash but lots of people came to say hello and there was another dog there as well who we greeted at one point. There was one family with a young girl who kept running up to our dog - he was fine with it but might be a little startling for a younger dog. Very random but fun adventure! Thanks Dave! Note: it is cash only, $5 per beer or $10 for a flight.
