I thought I wrote this review on Google, but I only reviewed it on Facebook, I’m writing this here now because the world needs to know the type of people they are.
Terrible, terrible rude owners! They demanded, no screamed that I wear masks to walk 3 feet from the door to the bar, ever heard of asking nicely? All while one owner was not wearing a mask. To be clear, I don’t mind wearing masks, but the people skills here suck! Actually spent money there, a terrible life choice, believe you me! Had one round with 4 others, and when we asked for another, they refused to make a drink for one of us because his 1st wasn’t finished! It’s really sad because the bar is truly beautiful and could be so much more with better owners. During snowmobile season, if a bar is on the trail like this place and is empty there is a reason for it, and let me tell ya, this place was a ghost town.

Nice bar
Great place
Joanni and Solo are always nice to us. We always stop for a drink when we're in the Winchester area. Very spotless and very clean
Clean place! Cold beer! Big cherries!
Stopped in on Friday afternoon, place was empty, had a beverage and left, atmosphere/service/conversation were all meh, $5/gallon gas at pump if you need it
Stopped for a quick beer and had a great conversation with the owner.
beautiful inside, bar and food. seriously is probably a favorite for us when we are up at the cottage. highly recommend
Come here every 4th of July weekend and have a couple of breakfast drinks while on our morning ice run. Owners are always friendly with us and love stopping here each morning when we are vacationing.
What a nice place and nice owners. And Old Style in the bottle, so good.

I don't know what this place used to be like, but now it's to be avoided. The owners/ bartenders were beyond rude and unpleasant. Like others have mentioned, my group stopped by while out sledding. We literally weren't even all through the door and still had our helmets on and we got yelled at for not wearing masks. The woman bartender doing the scolding had her mask around her neck while yelling at us. We should have left immediately, but didn't. It just got worse from there. Every other place we stopped by on the trails was orders of magnitude better. Stay away, they obviously don't want outside business.
My wife and I stopped in the other day. On the door it said wear a mask so we stopped and put our masks on, went in sat down and they said thanks you can take your masks off. We had chicken wings, fried green beans and got gas for the sleds. Was a great experience for us. Thank you.
This is a response to Jack and Coty. You seem to have forgotten what happened when you entered our establishment. There were not 10 drunken locals at the bar but four very sober snowmobilers from out of town. Your group entered our establishment and were informed that we required you to wear a mask until such time you were sitting at the bar or table (as mandated across the state of Wisconsin), at which time one of you immediately copped an attitude. You forget to mention the fact that one of you immediately started to continually drop the F bomb. One of the four customers sitting at the bar asked you to respect the establishment owners, so one of you approached that customer in a threatening manner and had words with him. At that time you were asked to leave our establishment as your group had worn out its welcome. Jack or Coty which ever one of you has the foul mouth , there was a lady present and you were informed we consider our establishment as a family place, yet you continued to drop the F bomb. Also you forgot to mention that COVID signage is prominently displayed at the door you used to enter our establishment. Be advised individuals like you are not welcome at our establishment.
The owners couldn’t stranger. It’s tough to keep up with all the rules that only they have without getting yelled at. They will most likely go broke and then ask for a bailout. The place had zero people in it when the rest of the bars in the area were packed. The owners are the reason. You will be highly disappointed.
The owners are rude and clueless on how to serve their customers. Probably going claim Covid killed their business, but its actually just them. The bar is 250ft off the trail, save the mileage on your sled and pass it by.
