we stopped to get food to go . ordered a steak sandwich with mushrooms and onions with fries and a grilled cheese with chips . The menu online said choice of one side . after the food was picked up the sandwich prices were more on receipt than posted online and was charged 1.50 for each side with our sandwiches . The food was very good however i feel that if prices have increased it should be changed online as well . The only negative about the food was the onions were raw , it looked like someone sliced an onion in half and set it on the sandwich .

It took a little while, say 45 minutes to get our Food but who cares... The perch was fantastic! Hubby ordered nine pieces and nearly finished it but that's okay I ate the extra one!

In town looking at real estate. Looked like a outdoors shop, and it was, just with a bar attached. Lots of people in camo, hunters, normal people. Food good, lots of alcohol options. Hopefully I can find a house nearby!

An old coworker of mine told me to check it out. And finally stopped in. Amazing food and service was great! Really awesome little place to go! Oh and must try the chili!Definitely will return!
This previously was our go to for fish but things have changed since our last visit. (Which was maybe a year and a half ago, we moved over an hour away and were in the process of building otherwise we would have been there more). We have to travel a distance now but as this was our favorite we were happy to make the drive. Got our food and we were soooo disappointed. We got walleye and perch. Both very dry. It was weird. Coleslaw sauce was separated and watery. We previously LOVED their lobster bisque so we both got a bowl and were disappointed as there was not a single chunk of lobster in it anymore. Did ask about the soup and they are getting this thru a new vendor. Bread was dry. Side salads very good lots of toppings! Not sure if everything was coming from a new vendor since we had last been there but we won't be back. Prices went up (not a big deal inflation is a thing) and quality went down (which is where the problem lies for us) i will say they have the right price on an awesome old fashion tho! Good atmosphere. Okay service, as we never got checked on after our Food was delivered until the bill was brought to us and it was not busy we were there at like 130 2 ish between the rushes

Their customer service is superb, the cuisine is fantastic, and they completely grasp my preference for ranch and hot sauce alongside every dish I enjoy. I wouldn’t have expected a place like this—taxidermied elk and moose heads on the wall, pool table, barlike atmosphere to have the best grilled mahi mahi, but Woodeye’s sure did! A fun place that I’ll be back to before leaving Wisconsin.
