The food was delicious. I had a chicken quesadilla and my husband had the prime rib special. He shared a bite and it was amazing. Generous portions. The service was excellent. The bartender/server was attentive and very funny. We would definitely go here again. Very friendly atmosphere. Patrons at the bar were friendly as well.

What a gem I stumbled onto!!!! Pure Wisconsin. You know you’re in the big woods in a place like this. Loved it! It was so nice to be so welcomed by down to earth great people. Beth was so helpful and friendly as was everyone there. I didn’t order dinner tonight, but the menu looks great. I caught a glimpse of the pizza which looked amazing. I will be back! What a great Northwoods bar, exceptional food atmosphere and staff… highly recommend to anyone for all seasons from snowmobiling Utv and tubing down the Chippewa River definitely a hidden gem!! A++

Great place on the lake! Although we didn't use it ourselves,there were many people using the PRIVATE landing on their kayak/tubing trips. The fish fry was fantastic! One young lady was working the bar and tables...she did wonderful! Very pleasant atmosphere.

We're lucky to have such a great local hangout. The service is incredible, friendly people and the Wannigan has an all around terrific atmosphere. I recommend Fish Friday, the pizza is the best in the area, Taco Tuesdays for the taco bowl. ...I would suggest you go here anytime.

The Wannigan has great owners and staff with a friendly atmosphere.
The food is delicious as are their old fashioneds and other cocktails.
The ladies bathroom is always adorned with fresh potpourri, scents and decor with a luxurious vibe.
I highly recommend The Wannigan for Taco Tuesday, Fish Frydays as well as their homemade pizzas and chicken. Yummmmm!
