Applebee's Grill + Bar

Terrible experience. Waited 20 minutes and not a single person took our order. It's not like the place was busy, only 5 other couples in restaurant. We walked out.

Always get the oriental chicken salad. Great as always

We hadn’t been into our local Applebees in years and wanted to give them a chance and try out their burger/chicken sandwich special. Upon entering we were met by an employee who was very nice and seated us.
We waited 12 minutes and never were approached by anyone. We only saw one waitress and the gentleman who greeted us. I think they are very short staffed. The gentleman who seated us started cleaning tables after he had sat down to eat. If we had been offered something to drink we probably would have stayed but we left without ordering.
I should mention they only had about 3-4 tables of customers.
The floors could use a serious vacuuming and really should be replaced as they are very worn. Tables need a good cleaning as well.
We were hoping for a better experience.

One thing with Applebee's is they are always trying new things with new food combos, new platters, and new specials. I appreciate that. It does have more of a corporate feel than it did years ago but for the most part the food is still good. Service can be hit or miss but luckily the last time the server was pretty good. They new the menu well and were able to answer questions we had. Food was good though it did seem to come out slow for the number of tables that were filled at the time we were there.

Parking: Pretty much there is no parking. Been here a dozen times and finding parking is always a challenge.

Stopped in for the new "Big Cluckin' Chicken Sandwich" deal. Ordered by phone and was very happy to have it waiting for us at the bar when we arrived. Nice thick and juicy sandwich, good fries and large drink at a great price. Only thing I can "complain" about was the lack of napkins and a straw, but I know they were available at the bar and I should have looked in the bag before leaving. My bad.

I mean, I get it, it’s Applebee’s so the expectations aren’t very high, however this is easily the worst Applebee’s I’ve ever experienced. Ordered a burger and fries meal and the plate had grease sitting in it and the fries had definitely been sitting around for a while. Honestly, probably the worst burger I have had in a long time.
I should have went across the street to Culver’s instead.

I had a small steak, and it was not the best quality. The portion of mashed potatoes was OK for me since I am trying to reduce my calories anyway, but if this would be served to a hungry man, he would stay hungry.

Went out for Veterans Day tonight to celebrate my husband, first off we didn’t get a server until almost 15 mins. Secondly then told us it was shift change, shift change that never happened. Only one new person came on and one person left. So shift change my ass. Thirdly than we ordered our food drinks an apps all at once, our app came out 30 minutes after we order. Lastly an hour later we got our food and got told they were very busy. When we watched five different tables come in and get their food a head of us. Maybe do not let your server eat pizza when y’all our “busy” ill never come back. It hasn’t changed since 2016. It’s a joke. Also our food was cold.
