This place is NOT SAFE FOR POC!! Me, my husband and sister in law went to get food here and the second we came in they staff and guest look like they saw a ghost. They clutched their purses closer and made many racist jokes to each other. We left immediately!

If you are in the Dells area, don't have kids with you, and are looking for the perfect bar ( dare I say dive bar/relaxed small town bar vibe) this is the bar for you. Most bars in the area are just too family oriented, too upscale/posh, and (money wise) trying to take every dollar that they can from you. This bar is NOT those bars! If you like deep/rich/spicy bloody marys, this is the bar for you. If you are a smoker, they have a large back deck that accommodates very nicely. I am older, so I (we) go to the dells to just get away from home and unwind. This bar is perfect for individuals like me (couples like us). If you go and agree with anything/or all i said.. then please leave a positive review for them.. If this fine establishment ever closed.. it would truly break my heart!!

We just had apps. They were good but most options are all deep fried. Definitely a bar atmosphere.

Great place to play pool, darts, and get a drink. Bartender was helpful. This is not an optimal place for kids though, no kids menu and only barstool seating inside. Outdoor sitting area is cute.

From the second you walk in, you are immediately met with negative energy from the bartender and costumers. Without even bothering to greet you, the bartender asks for your id in a very rude manner. Anyone under 21 isn’t allowed to sit at the bar, BUT can sit on a stool less than 1 foot away from the bar. Don’t bother wasting your time or money on this business.

Bartender made our day. Great dive bar atmosphere, locals were friendly to. A/C wasn't able to keep up but worth a little sweat.

Super cool place!

Great little hidden gem in plain sight. Food was wonderful, the enclosed dog friendly patio was nice. Lots of gorgeous potted plants to enjoy on the patio. Friendly service and very informative about the dells area. A great local place for a quick bite to eat with a good beer selection on tap. Will definitely visit again!

Went there 3 times on our getaway. Bar tenders were super nice, especially Edith, loved her, great personality. Food was good, soup was great! fun times!

Nice place I would go back again

We stopped here on the way through town to get something to eat quick.

We had some great burgers. The food was cooked the way we ordered it and it was done quickly. The cheese curds where good as well.

Overall I would stop by again for a burger and a drink

Up in the Dells for a short visit with my wife of 36 years (on 5/20). Went to Boomtown because it was nearby and we wanted a sandwich and some cocktails. Played some music, had curds and a brisket sandwich, wife had a burger. Overall, nice experience, casual joint where you can have a shot and sing and it doesn’t draw evil looks from snobby patrons. Try it!

Found this place on a Google search because we didn't want a chain restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did. Very quaint little bar/restaurant. The tumbleweed was SO good! I had the grilled chicken wrap and my son got Nashville tenders. Everything was very good!!
