Don’t get anything besides the manhandle for a meal. I ordered the catfish finger meal and there was only 10 little sticks that had more breading then fish for $22!

Walked in at 7:20 sat at bar the host did not acknowledgeme until i asked him if they were serving, was only 1 at bar... about a dozen tables i at there for 10 minutes and was never spoke to so after 15 min at 7:35 I walked out was not spoken to.... horrible staff

Definitely not consistent with other locations. Rushed and unappreciated. We expect better from a restaurant not busy on a Sunday night.
Super annoying to be told to sit and wait for 10 minutes when there’s plenty of tables open .

Having worked in the restaurant industry for 30+ years I cannot believe what I'm about to tell you. You should probably plan to eat here when it's busy, you'll get better service. We walked into a near empty restaurant (only one other table) were given menus, then proceeded to wait at least 10 minutes for our server to show up. Then she disappeared again after we got our drinks and another few minutes went by before she took our order. Very pleasant young lady, mind you. During the time we were there, two other parties came in, both 6 tops. By the time we were finished with our lunch, they had only been served their drinks & were still waiting for their food when we left. I felt bad for the kids, sitting there with absolutely nothing for that length of time. We've only ever been here when it was busy, on at least 5 other occasions, where it all came together & was an enjoyable experience every time. Love the food here, that's why we return. But perhaps you might want to train your servers to pick up the pace a bit.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. I mean... it's The Dells!!

Just had cheese curds and a Spotted Cow. Mainly stopped in for the pig hats.

The service was incredibly slow. There were not enough staff food was pretty decent. I had the barbecue nachos and the brisket mac & cheese I would definitely order it again. The layout of the restaurant is very cramped in the lower level I feel like the waitress only came back to our table only once or twice.

I was happy with the brisket and tips. The corn bread muffin was tasty! The pickled onions with the few pickle slices was a nice touch. It added flavor. I think my favorite sauce (they have 3 BBQ sauces on the tables) was rich and sassy. Overall, I had a good experience here. The food was tasty!

Been coming here for years as part of our yearly Wis Dells trip.
Food is always yummy. Love the atmosphere.
Not sure what happened with our server but he didn't seem like he wanted to be there. Very flat responses and not very customer friendly.
Still had a good time at Dave's.

Good food , a little pricey meat tender . Make sure you pickup barbecue sauce before you leave with pick meat comes naked . Garlic mash potatoes 10 out of 10

Amazing so yummy the service was great I loved it

I like the location being in downtown Wisconsin dells. Feeling surprised we had was paying for parking but it was inexpensive and you could use a card to pay for it. The restaurant was a little small but accommodated enough people and we didn't have to wait too long. We were greeted immediately and sat down within 5 to 10 minutes. The waitress was amazing and gave us great service and recommendations. They only had beer and wine available which was slightly disappointing as a mixed drink is my preference. The food came out pretty quickly the temperature was perfect and it tasted delicious. We had baby back and St Louis style ribs. If you're getting ribs get the St Louis style ribs as they have more meat. The baby back ribs did taste good and I'm thinking it was the best they had which was lacking meat on the bones wish I had that other restaurants that carry baby back ribs. Lastly, the prices were surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend this particular location as the other Famous Daves near the Kalahari resort doesn't have near as good of service.

I was in the Dells one night trying to get food for my family and all of our kids so I came in a lil earlier than 10pm because they stopped answering the phone. I ordered 2 chili cheese fries and 20 wings, cost me like $67 I tipped them before I even got my food so it was $71 I gave them for 20 wings n 2 fries. They told me 15-20 mins I said ok I’ll be back. I ordered pizza for the kids from pizza pub they told me 15-20 mins when I got there I had to wait. So I got the pizza and when I got back to Famous Dave’s it was 10:45 they closed at 10:30. But you know like any other restaurant I’m under the impression that they’re gonna at least wait 30 mins before they throw my food out. So I get there they’re eating my food the guy at the counter is laughing. So I ask for the manager. He says I can get a refund but I have to wait til Monday. I call back Monday and I speak to them; they say they don’t recall any of this and then they turn off their phones. But I’m going to get my money back. Terrible service worst experience I’ve ever had while on vacation we had to share pizza with our kids.

Another outstanding experience at a Famous Dave's restaurant. This location was outstanding in both it's food and services. Just wish parking was easier. During season, parking around the location can be difficult.
