Fields at the Wilderness is a spectacular dining experience you do not want to miss or overlook!! The entire Staff is friendly and accommodating !
Beautiful place. will go again. Food was awesome. People were really nice. Made for a great birthday dinner.
Never disappoints! Food was excellent and service was wonderful! Cocktails were also on point. Highly recommend
Service was terrible, we had a to beg to have bread brought to our table after seeing all the other tables get bread. It took forever to get orders. We kept having a different waiter approach the table, so not even sure if that's their policy or not. If their excuses they don't have enough servers then don't open up all your tables
Amazing food and attention to detail. A big, busy place but we always feel well attended to. Excellent cocktails and bartenders!
Both of our entrées were cold. You could tell they were understaffed. There was buildup of tables that needed to be bussed. They are not nearly as busy as the other two main supper clubs in town Honestly, the worst $200 meal I think I ever had . Last thing, you actually have to try to have a by the glass wine list that bad.
This time was a little disappointing. Field's historically has always been one of our favorite restaurants. As far as steak goes, they are had to beat. We were visiting for my birthday, and they do ask that when making the reservation, but it wasn't something acknowledged anyway so we were sure why. That was completely fine, just something to note. The wedge salad is always a favorite of both of ours and this time was no different. My husband's steak was excellent. He had no complaints. We have always said if you want a steak done right you go to Field's. He had the twice baked potato and felt it was just ok. I decided to try the Florentine Style pasta. I didn't read carefully and it had mushrooms which I'm not a fan of. It was ok, because my husband loves them and I just tried to pick most of them out, but there are a lot in it. It was almost a whole mushroom appetizer for him which he was pleased about. I really wouldn't have minded at all if the dish itself was exceptional, but it just wasn't very good. It kind of seemed to have been sitting warmed and waiting as well. I brought the majority of it back to the hotel room and it's now in our fridge, but I doubt it's getting eaten by anyone. I upgraded my potato to the premier twice baked. For an extra $6, it's not worth it. A little cheese, bacon and 3-4 jalapeños? No. Don't waste your money on that. Save it and get dessert instead. I thought it was going to be something special. It's more loaded at Texas Roadhouse, and that's sad to say. All that being said. You couldn't ask for a nicer place for a date night. The place is always beautiful and classy and the staff is lovely.
Always an excellent choice - I am local and my sister was visiting. Easy choice to have a great meal during the week outside of the busy tourist season. The seafood is excellent, desserts are always winners. Attentive wait staff, beautiful views of the landscaping and water elements.
We started off with Drinks at the bar. As usual the staff was very attentive and quick despite a busy bar. Our drinks were perfect. I had a Cosmo and my husband a Penelope Toasted on a cube. Both exceptional. We had reservations at 5:30 and were seated promptly. Service again was attentive and very efficient. We started with a Lobster Bisque to split, Caesar Salads for both of us were fresh and delicious. I got the Lobster and my Husband a Filet both cooked to perfection and delicious. He had green beans and I had a twice baked potato all of it was delicious. Fields continues to be a great dinner option!
We were greated and seated promptly. Our server took our drink orders and returned and we ordered one app. which came about 15 mins. later. Two of us ordered the prime rib special, medium rare. It was close to 30 mins before its arrival. The queen cut was perfect, the king cut nearly well done. Because of the long time we had already been there, we didn't bother to send it back. Granted, it was very busy, but we will think twice about visiting again.

Filet mignon was outstanding! The Caramelized onions were a great choice to pair with it! The PrimeRib was over the top amazing with the greatest Au Jus sauce. Yum. Yum ! Service was outstanding!
We've been dining at Field's for years. It is a lovely place to celebrate or just enjoy a nice dinner!
Been eating at Fields for many years when traveling to the Dells. Service was extremely poor today and filets overcooked. No one came to ask how the food was prepared after it was dropped. Celebrated a birthday and the ice cream sundae was delivered melting over the sides. No one even said happy birthday to my daughter. It's gonna be awhile if I come back. Service wasn't great the last time either.
Prime rib and mushrooms were very good; however, my wife ordered shrimp and it was hard and inedible. She sent it back and got the crabcakes which were OK. They did not charge for the poor shrimp. Service was fair, but not what we would expect for the entree prices. Service got worse after wife complained about her shrimp. Plus crabcakes took awhile to prepare after re-ordering. Overall, not great...kind of meh.
Had another great experience at Field's! The service was outstanding and the food was tasty!
