Brought two friend with my mom and I because we live going to fields when we are in town and they were absolutely thrilled and believe they will be back also
We keep coming back time after time because we are NEVER disappointed by the quality of the service and food!
Nice atmosphere. Meat was excellent but a bit overcooked. Dessert menu needed more options without coffee. Good service.
We were greeted and directed to the bar because we were early. The drinks came swiftly and went down easy. The food was delicious and done exactly the way I liked it. The atmosphere was great, not too noisy. All around a very great experience. We will be back.
We had a wonderful time. Came 18 years ago when we got engaged and came back here. We had a blast. First class, and reasonable.
A must-stop dining experience every time we are in the Dells. Everything was A+ as always.
Everything was amazing, except for my entree. The New York strip had zero flavor. Looked great, cooked great, but had zero flavor. Bringing it home after our trip and making our own sauce for it
Great ambiance, shrimp scampi amazing, really nice staff.
Tonight at dinner, our waiter, a young kid, asked if I was finished and I said “Yes, I’m finished”, thinking he was going to take it and box the leftovers up, as that is what a waitress was doing for someone else at my table. Well, guess that was my bad because he threw it away and then simply said, “Oh, she said she was finished,” when my cousin asked if he just threw my food away and told him throwing it away was not what I had meant (again, because this is a favorite restaurant of hers so we were all surprised he just tossed it). He didn’t offer to correct it in any way, nor did not he really seem to care. Mind you, my plate was still pretty full, so the fact that he tossed it, rather than clarify to box it, is frustrating, especially because they box it for you after every meal rather than allow you to box it. And it’s not as though it was a cheap meal. I come here every year with my cousin and have never had such a poor experience. Kid needs more training/to be more aware of what he is doing, or to work somewhere else. He honestly wasted my money as well as good food tonight.
Fields at the Wilderness never disappoints. Staff is first rate, food is beyond excellent. This is a must for anyone looking for a 5 star meal in the Dells!

Very appealing atmosphere. Servers were being trained so that's why we had inattentive service as did the other three tables in our area. My friend's scallop dish was good! But my prime rib was messie on my plate when served and the au jus juice tasted pretty artificial. Not in house prepared. Kinda ruined my meal. Also the twice baked potato wias a little mealy. Texture was off. I have them three stars only because the scallops were good.
As a last mention we didn't get dinner rolls and butter either.

Shellfish medley is too die for! We always eat at the bar, and it's still an amazing dining experience! Bartenders are top notch!
I hate to do this, but there are a lot of places to get an amazing steak in the Dells. Fields fell short. We've been here numerous times and have always loved it. This time was not great. I ordered lobster bisque, it never came. Server said he misunderstood. No problem. I ordered a glass of wine to have with my steak. We even discussed which one (soft or bold, etc). Picked one out. Food came, the steaks were not seasoned well at all. The wine never came, and they never even acknowledged it. Underwhelmed and at that price point we shouldn't be.
