My favorite place to go for a celebratory meal or special occasion. Wait staff is always on point and friendly. Ambience is upscaled to where you feel fancy just being there and most importantly the food is incredible. I've tried a bunch of different dishes from their steaks to veal to chicken dishes and everything has been done to perfection. We've tried many other places in the area and always find ourselves wishing we just came to Fields

The food was very good, although the side risotto could use a little more salt. The lobster bisque is delicious and the steak I ordered was cooked perfectly and juicy. The light fixtures did look a little dirty though, so it wasn't a great thing to see so atmosphere down a little bit, but overall the place was nice, the food was good, and the service was always available for drinks or anything else we needed.

The service and ambience were just great! That is the only reason my overall rating was three stars. The food in which we ordered, the kids chicken strips, 9 oz fillet with a side of scallops, the twice baked potato, and a Caesar salad. Chicken tenders were fine, but the fries had no seasoning and weren't crispy. The Caesar salad was delicious. The fillet although was cooked properly, it had zero seasoning. I guess that is why they push the toppings. The scallops as a side were horrible. Over cooked, overly fishy in taste and humorous enough, they topped a dry under cooked pile of fettuccine. I sent them back they were so bad. The premium twice baked potato was properly cooked, but the mix of cheap puny bacon bits and overly crusty baked cheese made me miss the lack of jalapenos even more. Lol. Anyway, regardless of how many future trips we take to the various resorts, this restaurant is one we would never visit again. I can not recommend unless you are that desperate... Happy travels!

If you can just order takeout for a wilderness salad, I recommend it! However this place has unfortunately gone down hill, the atmosphere is great and it’s very relaxed and makes the perfect date night but the most recent experience we had at the bar had us questioning why we even came in. The one bartender was extremely rude and could barely give us the time of day, they were also slower and only had two other couples at the bar at the time. Thankfully the second bartender saved our experience as she was very friendly. The food is also very good, it’s a little overpriced but you’re paying for the experience.

Amazing food and atmosphere. The service was good and it was a great date night break after a long day with kids at the water park.

Visiting from the Milwaukee area. Menu pricing was as expected; compared to similar Milwaukee restaurants I'd say some of their cheaper menu were a bit more costly, but more expensive items like the dry aged steaks (what my wife and I got) were priced pretty well comparatively.

Fields met every expectation. Our meals were delicious - lamb chops and seafood medley. My house wine was very good and a generous portion. Service was attentive and all staff were pleasant and well trained.

Came here last night for dinner with my family while we were staying at the Wilderness. We were given a coupon and were told it was very nice so we decided to give it a try. Service was okay, nothing crazy great but not bad. We also witnessed a proposal at the booth over so that was beautiful. Now to start with the food: We received a roll each and cold butter complimentary. Both were fine. The oyster special was incredible. Very large oysters! The lobster bisque was also buttery and rich. Would have loved to see some sort of crunch in the bisque, but overall I would absolutely order again. The Cesar salad (one without sardines and one with) was very very mid. The flavor just wasn't there for the Cesar dressing and even with the added giant grinder pepper I just wasn't getting the flavor I'd want with a Cesar salad. The one added olive was also a weird add on a for a Cesar salad, but I like olives so I ate it. I ordered the New York Strip and my husband ordered the rib chop. His was cooked perfectly medium rare while mine was still mooing even though I asked for medium rare. His side was the twice baked potato and that was very delicious. Mine were the green bean almond and to be honest I did not even try it because after I tried the added on shrimp scampi over noodles I couldn't eat anymore or my food. The shrimp was rancid and completely churned my stomach after only eating one piece. Overall, I wouldn't come back here personally after the shrimp. But give it a try! The pizza looked good when walking in.

Being locals, Field's at the Wilderness is one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate a special occasion or just go out with friends. We've eaten there since they opened and have never been disappointed. We highly recommend Field's at the Wilderness.

Went for happy hour appetizers and drinks in the lounge. They were busy but service was great and servers were very friendly. Love the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back and enjoy a meal in the dining room. We got the escargot and lobster cocktail, both were delicious.

My wife and I have been going to Field's for Valentine's Day, her birthday, and our anniversary for many years. Always wonderful food and service...until this time. Our waitress seemed distracted. We got our drinks quickly, then it was 20-25 minutes before someone else noticed we still didn't have food and another waiter came by and took our order. While it was disappointing, we view it as just one glitch. We'll be back!
