It's not the place it once was but acceptable. I wouldn't write home about them but they're okay.

Some of the food parings seen here are Way Out of the ordinary! Do not let this detour you, the kitchen does an outstanding job in balancing flavors with many colorful dishes.First visit, we were lucky to catch the door before it locked. Not to terribly upset any cooks we kept things really simple and ordered 3 Really Delicious Soprano wrap's. Monica our waitress, was absolutely great as well.Second visit, we were absolutely delighted to see Monica as our waitress again and although I typically do not find as much joy in other's BBQ as that of my own but,THE KOREAN PORK NACHOS are nothing short of phenomenal, especially paired with The Dell's own root beer. Both visits, all of the staff we encountered were warm friendly and helpful (was just into the mid-October off season).Parking.... Well, as previously stated, I went off season so parking was no issue. During season, I would say you may have a bit of a worthwhile walk to this destination but hey, it's on the strip so, pick up some fudge along the way.

This was a nice looking place on the inside. There was plenty of seating. Staff was okay although they could have been more attentive. I got the Soprano sandwich. I thought it was average. They gave me a lot of greens but not a lot of shrimp/bacon in the actual sandwich. This is probably a one and done for me next time I’m in the area. For $13 I would want more meat in my meal. Prices were okay. We’re find parking nearby.

We were hiking around downtown Wisconsin Dells and started feeling a little hungry. High Rock Cafe looked interesting so we decided to try it. The decor and atmosphere were interesting! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good. I had the potstickers on an orange salad base. I also had the baked potato soup.

The beet salad was delicious and the potato soup was the best we have ever had. Friendly service. Sitting upstairs looking out over the street is a nice experience. The lavender lemonade has a nice mild flavor.

If you want a different kind of dining experience this is the place to try out! Its cosy, good music selection and plenty of room so you are not bumping into your neighbours when entering and exiting your table. The wait staff are friendly and courteous. Their food is flavorful, there is a varity and good portion size! They bring out your steak on a hot stone and tell you how long to cook it. They provide a timer on the table. The meat was cooked to perfection! My husband who always orders steak where ever we eat is always complaining how the steak is never cooked like how he tells them. This time he couldnt say enough good things about. Not only was it cooked to his perfection but the seasoning they used were delicious!! We would definatly recommend High Rock Cafe ,and will dine here again! Asha

Pros: on a fairly busy night, it didn't take too long to get a table, about 10 min. The check was only $50 for three people. Cons: we were seated directly below a fan upstairs, and upon looking around, there were fans everywhere so it didn't pay to move seats. Temperature was cool and service was a bit slow. The food was fine but rather bland. Two of us got the fish fry. Mine was beer batter and needed that tartar sauce. My friend got panko breaded, did a taste test, and said it was better than mine. My other friend got soup (corn chowder) and salad and was disappointment with the lack of flavor in the soup.

Great location in downtown Wisconsin Dells. The service staff were friendly and helpful. The menu is fresh and full of great options for all tastes. We had the Walleye over garlic mashed potatoes, Prime Rib, cheese curds and great beer on tap. Would definitely go again.
Wow!! Who knew meatloaf and mac n cheese could taste so good! The cheese curds were out of this world too, the truffle flavor is real and awesome. One of the best meals at a Cafe I've ever had - rivals high end steakhouses for flavor and food quality.

The Big Kid Mac n Cheese is some of the best food I've ever had. I've never liked Mac n Cheese, but this is different. I get it orange/spicy, and it's more of a cream based rather than super cheesy. Amazing! I'll get it with chicken, shrimp, or plain depending on the day and it's all amazing. Ahi Tuna is also great, cooked perfectly and sauces and wasabi peas are delicious. Highly recommend the Tye-Dye and Lavender Lemonade for drinks. I come here anywhere between once a week/once a month. Never disappoints. I've found the Mac n Cheese is best right when they open, usually around 11-11:30, nice and freshly cooked noodles. Love being a regular here!

This place is definitely over rated. The only good thing we tasted there were the pot stickers. Do not order the steak. No Bueno. They seem to boil the prime rib. It was sad.

The food was all delicious. We ordered a few foods, Friday Night Fish, Meatloaf Sandwich(tasted like a burger) loaded potatoe soup, Cozumel Ribeye Steak, Harper Pasta and their Kit Kat. All was very good, the KitKat desert was decent. The atmosphere was nice, I believe they even had a live monstera plant. It was definitely worth the visit.
