Jose's Authentic Mexican Restaurant - Dells

Shared a fajita for two here. We were greeted and seated promptly. We're given a very generous bowl of chips with salsa and dip (needed more salsa!). After ordering, our food came out very quickly. Food was amazing. Great flavor. Generous amounts. You will not walk away hungry. I ended up using our remaining chips to scoop up what was left of our fajita plate - they add chorizo so it was scoopable and very yummy. Service was good and attentive. Very glad we stopped in. Highly recommended.

Joe's is a very good Mexican food restaurant at the Wisconsin Dells. When ever we travel close by we always stop and always get a great meal with good service.

Had the birra quasidillia. The birra was fantastic. Would of preferred the onions and cilantro separate as i don't like cilantro.

This was honestly some of the worst food I’ve ever received. The fajitas were old, dry, and clearly reheated—nothing fresh about them. The burger was just as bad: dry, rubbery, and tasted days old. Even the kids’ mac and cheese was dried out and inedible. Absolutely unacceptable quality. Total waste of money, and I won’t be giving this place another chance

I truly enjoyed this place! I've heard from others in town that they had a bad experience. That was not the case for me at all. The meal was exceptionally delicious! Their hot salsa is definitely hot but has great flavor. Service was awesome! I am pleased with my time there .

Our go to place for food when we come to the Dells. Celebrated our daughter's birthday and the mariachi guys came over and personally sang to her. Been to all 4 of their locations and service is great every time we go. Only down side is the dish size of the ranch for chips, should be same size as salsa and beef in the nachos tend to be quite greasy and puddles under chips

Have been eating here for a long time. Unfortunately over the last 6 months it has went way downhill. Service has gotten worse every time. Servers never check in on you anymore. The food is now so bland and boring. So disappointing because we really loved eating here.

It was our first time eating here, and we arent disappointed. The atmosphere is very inviting, and service is very timely.
There wasnt a child's menu offered to us, so we shared and had an ala carte item which was absolutely alright.
We will definitely be back when we visit the Dells again.

Real review - if you are awfully hungry, the food is edible; but it no where close to authentic mexican or even tex-mex. Tostado was tasteless and so was the carnita tacos or the chicken tamale. The saving grace was the margarita and the fries in the kids meal. They have loads of room for food improvement.
