Terrible place. Both soups on the salad bar were burnt. The calamari smelled VERY fishy and was chewy. I ordered a medium rare prime rib, it came out well done and tasted awful. This place smells awful, service, when there is service, is terrible. Don't waste your time or money.

Horrible experience, we walked in and were ignored for a fair amount of time. once seated they did not offer our children menus. the waitress who showed up to take our order was finishing our sentences for us. after 30+ minutes we still did not have drinks nor had we been asked what we would like to drink. and after 45 minutes we walked out.

This place is awful. Thought I heard banjos as we drove up. Went in and immediately smelled a very funky oder that wasn’t food. The pictures of the landscape and restaurant online must be very old because everything was dirty and broken down and overgrown. We ordered and went to the salad bar and found brown, slimy lettuce and mold on the other veggies. Told the waiter to cancel our order and left immediately. What an embarrassing establishment

We were seated at 630 and walked out at 720 due to not being served or offered drinks. When asked for a kids menu one person said we don't have them and a bar tender brought a sheet of paper over it. The kids menu was missing half the items. The waitress who finally took our order was not listening and for example my son ordered a NY strip and she said prime rib, he had to correct her three times and then she didn't give him an option of a side and just said French Fries. We never did get our drink order through and ended up walking out as they were only caring for the 2 larger parties that were already seated. They just didn't care about our small family of 4 at all. Will not go back.

Atmosphere was fine/good... Wisconsin style supper club Waitstaff...no issues Time... while it was busy, it took between 20-30 minutes to even get my drink order. Food then came within about 5 minutes of ordering it (a bit odd) Food...for a steakhouse/supper club was pretty disappointed. Tasted like a microwaved prime rib, dinner roll was like eating gravel, rack of ribs seemed pretty mid

If you're in the Wisconsin Dells area, you have to make this short drive away from the strip and eat here. It will be memorable! The food is hand-crafted and delicious. Everything had a rich, homemade flavor like someone cares what they're serving you and your family. The service team was fast, friendly, and caring. The whole experience took me back to better times when dining out mattered to people. To

Went on a whim and it was OK - not great, but good overall. Salad bar was a classic supper club fare and really enjoyed the throw-back feel. The soups were good, salad and toppings fresh. The scallops did not taste right. The sauce had an off putting bite that I just couldn't get past. When I let the server know the manager came out and said that it's the green onions in the sauce. I personally love green onions and that was not what I was tasting. It was just bitter and when I asked if I could get them without the sauce it was a hard no which makes me believe they come in the sauce and they just warm them up. (Also, if you have that many complaints about a sauce, why would you keep serving it?) Portion size was nice overall. The shrimp were not jumbo. (That was my replacement since the scallops came as-is.) The menu (and prices say jumbo shrimp but they were a normal size (like 30ct -- but when someone says jumbo I expect 15-20ct if not larger). However, the coating on the shrimp was delicious and they were cooked well. The prime rib (the main reason we went) was ordered medium but served rare. It wasn't just rare, it was still cold. (You can see in the picture the original cut in the background of the second plate that came out.) The replacement that came out (after an eye roll from the manager) was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. We didn't order any extra seasonings and the rub they had on the outside was perfect as is.Our server was clearly new to his job, but he did a great job even with the language barrier and was very nice and helpful. I do feel for the manager who was filling in for a server that didn't show (and made a point of loudly telling everyone about it) but at the same time that is the job and it doesn't give her a pass to swear under her breath about customers when she thinks no one is listening -- I can only imagine what she said about us since we sent two of our four meals back for replacements.Honestly, if we ever went back it would be because of our server -- he really was a nice guy and did a good job -- and to sit on the back deck and sip a flight of old fashions (they have a large selection). The outdoor seating was fantastic. The deck overlooks some pretty scenery and it was nice and tranquil back there.

Food was horrible. The server was very nice and understanding. But the pricing for what you get is absolutely not worth it. $28 for 7 shrimp and potatoes...... no way. We paid $115 for 4 people and everything was cold or undercooked. We won't be returning. Beautiful hidden spot but food is bad bad. Also not to mention everything was apparently out? So half the items we wanted we're not available the salad bar you could tell items were old and gross. Not worth it.

A Hidden Gem! Worth the extra 3 minute drive for THE ABSOLUTE BEST RIBS & STEAK we have ever had in our lives. Even our picky son enjoyed the Wisconsin cheese curds & extra crispy chicken strips. Great service and not a long wait during the dinner rush since it's a little off the main strip. Will be back during our next visit!

This restaurant is such a hidden gem! We had delicious and very tender ribs! Our server took great care of us! The terrace is very charming! Feels like you're enjoying dinner in the woods! The free bug spray is a bonus too :) We can 100% recommend this place and would come again!

Went out for our anniversary, decided to try Rubbs. We were seated and waited 20 minutes before anyone spoke to us or even got our drink orders. Large groups arrived after us and had their meals and drinks first. We paid $130 for a meal that was not good, and left hungry still. Would have been acceptable paying that much if we left satisfied. Lobster was dry and hard to eat, garlic mashed potatoes seemed like they sat out for a long time. Wanted to order alcoholic drinks but our sodas took so long to come didn’t bother. Very disappointed

Pricey for the quality of food. Steak was undercooked, asked for cajan but had no flavor once so ever. Potatoes were bland. Our server Suzette was wonderful and probably the only good part of the experience.

Had to ask for my soda 3 times before getting it. And when I pay $50 for a steak I’d prefer it not to be covered in seasoning. Then also asked for A1 sauce twice. And never received it. 4 in our party. $270 bill. None of us were happy. Will not come again.

It is difficult to write this but RuBBs was terrible. 2nd time there. First time was barely acceptable but this was bad. We like going to local places off the beaten path and just by the location, this should be a cool restaurant. I understand during even busy season, it is tough for a small business to do well. The appetizer was loaded potatoes in theory. It looked like a cut up baked potato into strips with cheese added. My New York Strip was cooked on outside, raw inside. Probably frozen and tried to unfreeze and thrown on the grill. The chicken entree with noodles was dry and not good. The salad bar seemed OK but I stayed away from some of dairy add ons that looked questionable. I did not try the soup. The rolls were hard as a rock. When I ordered my second drink, they ran out of the liquor of choice (a standard) and said they were closing in a few weeks (I assume for the season). Way over-priced for what you get, unfortunate. The waitress was nice, I assumed a manager. She was coaching one of the cooks or kitchen staff how to get better and what to take for a cold in front of the dining room. I wish them all the best and I know how hard it is to run a restaurant like this but we won't be back ever.

We want to give a huge thanks to Emma our server last night. We sat outside with the beautiful view of the wood under a canopy. Then it started to rain. She was totally willing to run in and out in the rain.Emma recommended the stuffed mushrooms which were excellent. I had the scallops and garlic mashed potatoes which was also quite good!Since it’s our first time to the area she also gave us some excellent recommendations of quieter things to do.Thank you!
