Prime Rib has great flavor, but the sauteed mushrooms stole the show; the best I have ever had! Great service and awesome food!

We used to frequent this place when it was Sandstone Pub a few years ago (until it went downhill). When we heard someone else had taken over we were hopeful that it would get back its former charm. We stopped on a Saturday in July just to check it out and maybe have a bite depending on what we found. We were sorely disappointed. One of the best features of the former restaurant was the large seating outside. After we ordered a drink and asked for a menu we went outside to check it out. There was a pair of mens tennis shoes in front of one of the booths, a lot of "junk" laying around and it looked very tired and sad. This spot could be so much more! There are only a few tables inside to sit at. After looking at the menu we decided to leave. I believe the owner (a woman) welcomed us when we arrived and was friendly. The initial impression just did not inspire us enough to try something on the menu. We may go back next year to see how they are doing after have a year under their belts. Hopefully they will be better so we could again make it one of our favorite spots.

We rented a cabin from them, it was great. We fished down off their dock, caught a lot of nice fish. Before that, we had a quick beer, and intended to go back later and have some food but they were inexplicably closed? It was strange. A couple of boaters stopped at the dock, said their food was super. Hope all goes well there.

Excellent food & service. Feels like your favorite neighborhood spot. Owners were on site & make sure you get whatever you need. I love prime rib & have eaten it everywhere. This place had the best by far. People in our group had cheeseburgers & and they said they were excellent. We asked for cheese dip for the homemade tortilla chips. It was not on the menu so they created & made a homemade cheesy spicy dip on the spot which was delicious. Love the food!

We stayed in the cabins here. It wasn't too expensive. It was clean and quiet. Way better than a hotel room. We will stay here again.

We are in the resort just down the road. We are always looking for a good place to eat that's close by and not actually in the dells. We find that the cost of food and drinks are cheaper at these places. This place recently changed names/owners from previously Sand Stone Bar & Grill. We where there on a Monday-they had a prime rib sandwich and BLT with warm tortilla chips as their specials. We tried them and they were excellent and reasonably priced. Drinks were reasonably priced also. Decent menu and friendly staff. They also have pizza but it's not on there menu. Will definitely be going back.

Best burgers in the Dell's! The owners are friendly, accommodating, and make amazing food for great prices. They have a lovely walk down to the river if you so choose. On a pretty day take a beer and go enjoy the beauty of the Wisconsin river. Highly recommend this place!
