Bar/waitstaff/cart were awesome. Great customer service. Other than that where do I start. We had 24 guys out for a Mn vs wi 3 day, 4 round tournament. The gentleman checking us all in seemed very annoyed we were even there. Over the top and rude. Maybe if he focused more on the golf course and not bossing everyone around like an

army captain they would have time to put move the pins or change the tee boxes one time in 4 rounds. By round 4 you couldn’t find a spot on the par 3s with grass. Wouldn’t taken anyone 30 seconds to move a couple rocks to at least give you some good ground and change the hole a few yards from the previous rounds. No waiting and watching your friends tee off on the first tee? Oh ok so that’s a rule at a course that doesn’t even have rakes in their bunkers?

Again, the restaurant staff was great and really saved the trip. My suggestion is let them run the golf course too.

Response to owner:
Facelessly bash on google? My picture and name are right there. Moving a pin and some tee boxes one time over 3 days and 4 rounds isn’t much to expect from a golf course. It’s called a review and me along with other players mentioned are frustration with staff. Maybe put a little effort in to not being lazy when it comes to golf course expectations than trying to defend a reasonable complaint.

Is a little pricey but course was in great shape. Drink cart was out early and often. Be sure to play the 19th hole before hitting the clubhouse

Cool and difficult course, decent upkeep. Only knock is their variable open times on the weekend...can't really hit the range if you have the first few tee times because they may or may not be there before you.

I got lunch yesterday. It was not that full but since there was only 1 lady serving, taking orders and payment, she could not be quick. They need to put additional people to support! Other than that, the food was excellent, I got a shrimp bowl. It was tasty! The place is super clean and has nice atmosphere, would suggest everyone

Most expensive twilight walking rates in the Fox valley. Between cost, slow play, and highway noise I don’t plan on coming back.

Left a little disappointed for all you hear about this course and not sure I’d choose it again over other local options. The course itself is fun and challenging! However there’s certainly some areas of improvement, that are called out in other reviews as well that seem to be themes. The carts are pretty dismantled with no GPS, no windshields or rain hoods for clubs. For the price and prestige this course wants, pretty below par there. It’s really odd that they don’t have rakes for a link style course that boasts of bunkers. The way staff interacts with customers certainly leaves room to be desired. I’m not sure I understand some of the reviews complaining of houses, they really aren’t very close to the course and not in landing spots so really no concerns there from my group’s perspective.

Fabulous golf course. The conditions were great (and that was after the course had tons of rain in previous days). The rough was thick and tough, greens were smooth and fast. The layout is beautiful.

Don't care for the houses right on the course though. The houses are way to close in my humble opinion. That is the difference between 4 and 5 stars.
