We chose to skip the Waffle House and try something a bit more local. The Meeting Place fit the bill. Despite sharing the building with a gas station and being located right off the Interstate, it was all locals. Some rusty pickups in the parking lot and friendly service.
French Toast for Mrs. K and an omelet for me. I'm still trying hard not to eat carbs so I had sausage patties on the side and no potatoes or toast.
It was all delicious, our waitress was lovely and we drank about a gallon of their good coffee. Definitely worth a stop!

Came in first thing on the 4th and was greeted with a smile. Karen came over with a warm smile, did not rush and was quick on her feet. Ordered the Full Load and was satisfied. Eggs were fresh, the biscuits and gravy were fluffy and creamy, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back again for something else next time.

This was a great place my first time to stop for breakfast after a lengthy drive down the interstate. My omelet and biscuit were delicious. I stopped by recently for lunch and had an amazing burger called the Spicy Don with fries.
Parking: It also has a gas station and convenience store.
