This hidden gem of a restaurant, nestled in a truck stop, offers a delightful dining experience. I highly recommend trying their Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the extensive salad bar. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by and indulge in their culinary delights.
We chose to skip the Waffle House and try something a bit more local. The Meeting Place fit the bill. Despite sharing the building with a gas station and being located right off the Interstate, it was all locals. Some rusty pickups in the parking lot and friendly service.

Came in first thing on the 4th and was greeted with a smile. Karen came over with a warm smile, did not rush and was quick on her feet. Ordered the Full Load and was satisfied. Eggs were fresh, the biscuits and gravy were fluffy and creamy, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back again for something else next time.
