The food is usually pretty good, but they are very overpriced. It's really expensive for what you get. I appreciate having a small place to eat in slanesville but, at the end of the day it's a few booths inside a gas station and should be priced accordingly.

After a day of hiking Main Street hit the spot. The buffalo fries were spot on, a little heat with be good, but they were super tastey and appreciate the shoestring size fry.Garlic Parmesan wings were good but could have been crispier. Also had the sirloin, which was missing seasoning, but as far as diner goes I ate it all. I would certainly go back, but probably choose a burger over the steak.The shrimp basket and hush puppies were spot on and will be ordered again if back in town.Service was excellent and friendly,

Absolutely spectacular little diner that is worth the drive off the highway. I ordered a sausage stromboli and it was incredible
This little nook is a gem. The food was top-notch. Little restaurant attached to a service station with lots to look at inside. Recommended the turkey and roast beef dinners. Next time we are in the area definitely be over a meal time.

Was visiting family in the area with my mom and decided to stop in for dinner and it was very delicious and the service was A+++ I’m looking forward to stopping by again in the near future.

We actually eat here a lot. Sometimes more than once per week. Normally I'd have nothing to really even complain about. But today was different. Today my drink was empty for five minutes before I was asked if I needed a refill. The next issue was the server was more worried about talking to customers rather than getting our check. We waited for several minutes after completing the meal and was not checked on. So we went to the counter to let her know we were done. This hasn't happened before. Maybe she is new. Hopefully she pays more attention to making sure drinks are kept full. More checking in would be also nice. But the food was amazing, as always.Also, I love the christian music playing in the background. Makes for a great atmosphere.

Pretty tasty steak and cheese sub. French fries are 🧂 salty. Reminds me of boardwalk fries. Maybe I should have used vinegar and not ketchup. Been going here since 2007. Guess I'll keep going there. You should try it if you are on Rt. 127 in the middle of nowhere in Hampshire County West Virginia.
