We were seated upstairs and were a little befuddled to discover that one can't order draft beer there. Customers are welcome to go downstairs, order it at the bar, then bring it back to the table, but the servers don't do that for you.

My wife and I had heard about Christopher’s Eats and their quality for years but had never made the time or effort to stop by. What a mistake that was. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is calming and clean, and the service is impeccable. Set back off the main road, sitting on the front patio feels like visiting one of the more upscale “artisanal eateries” of Asheville, NC.
I got the Whiskey Burger w/ Truffle Fries, which was not only great tasting but clearly made with high quality ingredients. Cooled to a perfect medium well, the burger was juicy, the bacon was thick and crispy, and the bun was buttery and soft. My wife, on the other hand, got the Pulled Pork Panini w/ Sweet Potato Fries, which was spicy, savory, and exactly what you want for a lunch-sized meal. The portions were generous to say the least.
Special kudos to our server/waitress, Lilly H, for the kindness and attentiveness. We tried to exchange our sassy four-year-old daughter for one in the back, but Lilly graciously apologized for the restaurant being out of replacements at this time. Haha.
If you’re in the Huntington-Ashland area, you’d be hard pressed to find a better meal for the price. Oh, and that playlist / radio station was playing ALL the hits. 5 stars to be certain.

First time visit from NC. Went for dinner and ordered fish and chips which was excellent. Crispy battered and nicely seasoned cod with very good fries. Service was excellent! The restaurant vibe was beautifully rustic and nicely appointed. Unfortunately, my partner ordered the meatloaf which was dry, bland and badly burned on the bottom. I assume that resulted from re-heating. The Mac & cheese was dry and had no flavor. Would not order either item again. Overall, the nachos and burgers others around us ordered looked very tasty.

Amazing food and amazing service. The portions aren't what you'd get with, uh, cheaper food. The quality is amazing which balances that well and I was plenty full after my meal. The prices aren't as high as I rather expected. I went with a friend and both of our meals were not quite $20 each with drinks and all. Now, it is quite fancy. I've eaten here twice now, I believe. Sometimes, people come in that are very well dressed and I feel out of place. I ride the bus stop it's not practical to dress up just for one stop especially in extreme weather. The staff have always been very professional. They have never caused me to feel out of place. I would gladly eat here again if the opportunity arises.

I have been a patron of Christopher’s since they have opened. I have never had a bad experience there. Therefore, I decided to have my wedding reception there. I had the entire upstairs rented and chose a 7 appetizer Buffett.
All I can say is WOW! I expected the tremendous quality and service that I have always received, however, they went over the top. The food was AMAZING. So many in attendance continually complimented the quality of the food. Several people came in from out of town, and never been there before. They were so impressed with the facility and the service.
Speaking of service, our dedicated service team, Morgan, Megan, and Emily, were PHENOMENAL.
The only reason I gave 5 stars is because 6 isn’t an option!!!!

Ive dined here for many holidays, special occasions, last minute dinners, or “just because” at brunch, lunch, and dinner for years and have never ever had a bad experience. They’re creative with their menu options but also have dishes for the pickier eaters - they definitely know how to make a dish their own and every bite is full of flavor. One of my personal favorite dinner options is the salmon and/or their grilled chicken with the tzatziki but my NEW favorite is the bourbon peach glazed pork chop 😍 SO flavorful and the portion is just right, extra good with sweet potato fries and their honey glazed carrots. They’re always improving and curating cool dishes. Cocktails always hit just right, wide variety of local beers, etc. Staff is always accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Playlists always hit, vibes are always high, and the atmosphere is cozy. They keep the place super clean and I’ve always felt safe and comfortable to enjoy myself - no matter if I’m there 45 minutes or hours. Love it here!

This is SUCH a fun place! The atmosphere is great and the staff is even better. Try the salmon or ahi tuna on a salad, it’s the best in town!
