Other than the food being good praise to the cooks.This place has the slowest waitresses in barboursville they barely come check on you for anything getting a drink refill takes forever and the hospitality is non existent I've came here 10 times in the last year so I gave it multiple chances and mostly every time i leave disappointed from wait staff but after our last visit we won't be back the wait staff hang around the bar area talking more than they work.

We stopped in here because we went to the mall. The food was really good, our server was great, and we enjoyed the salad bar. Nothing to complain about. It was a pleasant experience and a good meal. Drinks were good also, other than I had to send the margarita back to get a sugar rim. I'm not sure what kind of bartender sends a margarita out without salt or sugar... They were out of a couple of things, which was frustrating, but otherwise no real complaints. A good little place to stop and have dinner. Worth it just to go and get the salad bar sometimes too.

Food was less than impressive. They brought each meal out separately. No rhyme or reason. Food was barely warm as if it had been sitting. Experience was greatly underwhelming. Will not return.

It's a shame because I did like this place. I've called more than 15 times and have only gotten to speak with a manager once. I was charged $80 for an appetizer, two entrees, and a kid's meal. The waiter was incompetent and we only got our one round of drinks after I had to ask twice. The entrees and appetizer came out at the same time. Now I have to contact the bank to get a fool refund.

This was my first visit to Ruby Tuesday, and unfortunately it set the tone immediately. We waited over ten minutes just to be seated while employees made eye contact with us and other guests were seated and served. The couple ahead of us waited even longer and eventually left.
Once seated, service did not improve. My husband never received a refill on his drink, and when our food arrived, it was cold and the meat on our sandwiches was burnt.
However, the most serious issue was the billing. I was incorrectly charged $73.27 for someone else’s meal. The waiter initially argued with me and had me pay it. When I requested a receipt, he then admitted the charge was incorrect, said it would be canceled, and charged me again for the correct amount of $37.41.
The $73.27 charge was not canceled and went through anyway. I was charged $110.68 total for a meal that should have cost $37.41.
I have contacted the local restaurant, called their phone line, and submitted a complaint, with no resolution. It has now been nearly six days, and I am forced to dispute the charge with my bank.
Mistakes happen, but ignoring an incorrect charge of this size for days is unacceptable.

At this point, I genuinely wish we had just gone to AppleBees

Update: 1-2-26

After several attempts to resolve this, I finally spoke with someone today who took ownership and pushed the refund through. I appreciate her effort. While I’m glad it’s being corrected, it did take several days and multiple contacts to reach this point.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Ruby Tuesday. The service was painfully slow from the moment we arrived and the places wasn’t busy. No one checked on us, took 30 min to get our drinks and even longer to get our food order. Once the food arrived it was all severely over cooked (burgers and steaks were extra well done) and we were forced to get up and refill our own drinks because staff couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs.
To make matters worse, we witnessed a manager eating in the kitchen.
Slow service, lack of staff, no refills, and unprofessional management made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
