I visit Starbucks regularly, this location, Teays Valley and Kroger locations in between, and each time I order, something seems to go wrong—whether it’s an issue with adding an extra shot of espresso, using a specific syrup, or other requests that should be standardized. It’s frustrating because I can’t easily return to have it corrected; I commute 30 minutes each way from work, so going back isn’t always an option.
This Starbucks visit is one of the few treats I allow myself, and it’s disappointing to have it consistently fall short. I was once promised my points back for an error, but I never received them. On another occasion, I was told I could have my drink remade, only to find out that policy only applies if the drink was made incorrectly, not if I didn’t like it. So, I wasted even more time trying to get it resolved.
The peppermint mocha taste like hot chocolate and toothpaste ?
For a brand that people like myself look forward to and invest thousands of dollars each year, these issues really add up. I hope Starbucks can acknowledge these concerns, as customers work hard for these small indulgences and expect them to be consistent.
I will say, the people are nice especially this one man the serves the window most mornings around 8:10-8:15 am. He is always so nice and smiles so big.
However, this was the last straw when the manager stepped in and refused to remake my drink or offer another relevant solution to my issue rather than refusing to retain business as a recurring and respectful customer.

I ordered a Chai tea hot, and was it hot, so hot that when I tried to drink it the lid popped off and the tea went all over me and my car. It made a slight burn on my arm and chest. The cup was flimsy, I called and reported it so this hopefully won’t happen to anyone else.

Outside lights were not turned on. Mentioned menu wasn't lit up and told "sometimes it just turns off". No offer to turn it on. No lights in parking lot. Couldn't see to do credit card info so dark. Made drink wrong then treated us like we were stupid because they made iced when we ordered hot. Very rude employees

This is my favorite Starbucks. They are always quick, friendly, and super nice. I’ve tried different drinks there, and each one has been great.
This place was crazy busy this evening and sadly out of my tasty brownies. Even with that I walked out with a smile! A group working together in a stressful busy situation all smiles, all polite and everyone was helping each other. It just made happy and my coffee is yummy!
