Buffalo Trail Restaurant and Bar

rented a cabin for 4 days 3 nights, with the though of eating at the restaurant Friday and Saturday for dinner. Dinner on Friday as underwhelming but okay, but Saturday the 7 of us got to the restaurant and ordered by 5:50pm 6 people in the group got their food in a very reasonable amount of time, the 7th was told his pizza would be out in a few seconds. 15 minutes later when everyone else is finishing their food, the waitress finally cam back and addressed the fact the pizza still wasn't out, and said it'd be another 10 minutes. 20 minutes later the waitress still avoiding the table because there was no pizza, 6 people have already eaten dinner and dessert while 1 person is waiting on a pizza that numerous times they were assured it would be out momentarily. finally one of us walked over to the manager because no one ever talked with us and asked about it, she said she could offer a 25% discount on the pizza but nothing else for alhaving someone not being able to eat dinner. in summary: the food is subpar or non existent and customer service is worse. the issue is i will now not be staying at the campground again because the restaurant which is a perk I'm looking for is unreliable

Just happened upon this place while riding the trails. Location, prices, restaurant all very impressive.
We will be staying here next year.

Steak was really good with the butter garlic sauce on it. The cheese curds were also good. I think they are a little high on price compared to everything else locally but that was kinda expected.

The atmosphere was great! Our waitress was also wonderful. Very attentive to our table. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food. I had the one pound Bison burger and it was great! I would recommend it!

Staying in WV to do riding on the Hatfield & McCoy. Stopped at Buffalo Trail for a beer and dinner. Excellent service and dinner. Had rib eye steaks. Fantastic. Highly recommend. Service fantastic too.

Had the burger and it was excellent. Great beer selection and the firepit outside is a pretty spectacular highlight.
