Love this place. The food was amaaazing. I was in Elkins for a festival and visited this place both nights I was here. The pool table was beautiful and the owners were cool as hell. If I'm ever in Elkins again I'm coming here for sure.

I had the privilege of playing an acoustic set there last Friday, what a great spot. Outstanding crowd and locals, amazing service and food, and VERY fun atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place enough. The Delmonico steak dinner and 100% recommend. Everything from drinks to entrees are VERY reasonably priced. Also, best wings I have had in the area so far! Can’t say enough about the place. Clean, welcoming, entertaining, and I look forward to performing there again!

We enjoyed the food and the menu had some nice options. Everything was reasonably priced.
Mike the bartender and Jessica were the highlight of the bar.
Unlike many small hometown bars I've been to I was able to get a delicious mixed drink and felt welcomed.
We aren't locals, just here for weekend trip but we will definitely try to make it back.

Philadelphia native here, the service drinks, and food were really good! We were lucky to have stopped by. Mike and his wife provided excellent service! This place is worth a try!
This is one of the friendliest places I've been. We racked up quite a bar tab and the owner is such a nice guy he said he felt bad for me paying that much. Needless to say we tipped well.

Food was not great, I order steak and baked potato. Wife had boneless buffalo wings she wasn't crazy about them and she eats a good but of wings. Staff was excellent. Wasn't busy so maybe it was a off night. Was my first time there think it was my last time also.

We were staying at a nearby campground and decided to go here based on it being close by and not much of a drive. Glad we made the decision! Employees are super courteous and went out of their way to provide excellent service, atmosphere was great(we had kids with us and had nothing to worry about even though this is considered a bar) and the place is pretty cozy. Loved it so much we went back the next night!I had wings both nights we went there(Garlic Parm/Bourbon BBQ) and I have to say of all the wing places I've been to in my life these were right up there as some of the best I've ever had. Can't recommend the Garlic Parm wings enough, the wing sauce on them is easily one of the greatest things I've ever had. Rest of our party had anything from shrimp and steak to the grilled cheese and all of it was excellent. Side salads were fresh and tasty and they have a variety of fries that are all pretty good. Good selection of beer and mixed drinks. If you're a WVU fan/alum you'll feel right at home. Will certainly go back when I'm in the area again!
Kid-friendliness: Despite it being a bar we had no issues at all having kids with us both nights for dinner. Atmosphere is very comfortable and employees/owners do a great job maintaining it!

had a really bad experience here. Whiskey River Grill is a 1 star with bad food and Hillbilly Elegy like service. These people are awful and filled with really incompetent actors. I would not recommend that truckers come here. They are AWFUL!
