Brickside Bar & Grille

I came out on 1/25 to hear the band. I sat there the entire night and not one waiter/waitress came to ask me if I needed anything or if I needed a menu. 6 hours and not one person came to the table I was sitting at. I had to go to the car and get a drink that I brought with me so that I would have something to drink.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere and the Best entertainment! Love the positive energy here. If you’re a local trying this out for the first time, I highly recommend. We go here on the regular. If you’re new to the area or just passing through, this is one of north central WV’s hidden gems!

Didn't eat there

Wife and I have eaten here quite a few times over the last 3 years and had good everything. Tonight? Not so good. We decided to eat on the patio. Initially, it was good, everything was fine. Had something to drink and ordered an appetizer which came quickly right after we received our drinks. Fine! Then we waited and waited and waited for our order. Appetizer all gone, first drink gone and received a second. Finally another waitress asked what was our order. We told her and a few minutes later she brought it out. Original waitress was MIA. Original waitress came to table to see if everything was ok. By then it was and we started to eat. A few minutes after we started a waitress started mopping the patio. The plastic on the patio was open and a breeze was blowing inward. The fumes from the chemical in the mop turned my wife off eating real quick as the waitress finished mopping and then left the bucket right in the middle of the patio not 5 feet away from our table.
We asked for a box and my wife boxed her mostly un-touched meal, we paid and left.
Will never go to the patio again!

After a long long drive we showed up here @1015. Kitchen was still open! Great food. Bar tender she was amazing!

We went on a date at a family members request saying that this place was amazing. Unfortunately we left very disappointed. The only two good points that we had was the sweet tea and the tips & blue. The other drink we ordered from the bar was not at all good and made me sick to my stomach the rest of the day. We ordered the chicken sandwich and it was very bland and dry. We ordered the brisket mac and cheese and it was flavorless and the meat was not brisket it tasted like a crockpot pot roast. The area was very cramped and smashed. I don't think we will be coming back which stinks since this place was recommended to us by family. 75 dollars for this place was very upsetting.

Great place to eat lunch or dinner. Wings and pizza are my favorites. My husband enjoys the pizza, onion rings and giovanni sandwich. Today he ate a reuben. It was packed with meat and he loved that also. Never had a bad experience. Staff is friendly and provides a great experience.
Restaurant is always clean. Brad is a great manager.
Highly recommend.

Cons:
- the brisket lacked flavor and char
- the mac and cheese was decent, but nothing special
- the drinks were almost too sweet, and too many featured blue curacao

The atmosphere was comforting,the price of drinks is a blessing on my wallet and Kate made one of the best L.I.T a girl could have 10/10 experience
