Original Italian Pizza of West Virginia

So I've had the loaded 12x16 Sicilian thick crust pizza, the 14in pepperoni pizza, and a loaded Calzone. Overall the food is pretty good but a bit pricey for what you get at times.

The 6-topping Calzone is $14 and by the picture you can tell it's pretty small. The taste was really good though. The Sicilian tastes pretty good and definitely tastes different than the standard 14in, so they aren't cutting corners with the Sicilian pizza. But the loaded Sicilian is $25 so I'd hope it would definitely taste worth it. The 14in pizza was pretty good too. I really appreciate that they don't skimp on the cheese! Very tasty!

Overall I'd recommend this place. It's not budget prices but it's not budget taste either.

I’ve always considered this one of my favorite pizza places in the area, but the last two experiences have been really disappointing. A few weeks ago, I ordered a square pizza and got a round one instead. I figured it was just a mix-up and let it go.

But this past weekend, I ordered a square pizza and very clearly asked for it to be well done. I even explained how important that was when placing the order, and they assured me it would be. Unfortunately, when I got home, the pizza wasn’t even cooked to a normal level—there was no browning on the crust or bottom at all. I had to put it back in the oven myself just to finish cooking it.

What bothered me the most was that the receipt said “well done,” so they heard me—but still didn’t do it. It honestly felt like they were just mocking the request by writing it down and ignoring it.

I’ve always liked this place, and I’m hoping this is just a rough patch. But lately, the quality and attention to detail haven’t been what they used to be.

Visiting from out of state, we ordered from online and it was ready in 20 minutes. We got two personal size pizzas and a cheese bread, it was fresh, hot and delicious! The cheese bread was on Italian bread cut open. The food was enough for three people with plenty for leftovers. The pizza in the photo is a margarita pizza. Definitely recommend!

Good food, no issues there. Not the friendliest employees. The website allows you to order combos with restricted availability, and does not make it super apparent especially if you’re not familiar with the site. I accidentally ordered a lunch combo, and they were very rude about it. They still made the combo, props to them for that, however, the attitude on the side was unnecessary.

First time there. Ordered a simple pepperoni Stromboli. Stromboli wasn't crimped together and looked more like an attempt at a calzone. Had maybe a dozen pieces of pepperoni in it. Waited nearly half an hour and was the only one in store. Could have been a bunch of call ins, but I didn't even see a driver come or go.

This pizza is so good. As an Italian I can say it's delicious. They use half provolone and half mozzarella. It is delicious.

This place makes the kind of food that made the turtles love pizza. amazing dough and perfect cheese. this will be my new go to for a great dinner. I highly recommend it if you live here and never tried it or you're just passing by. kowabunga!!

Calzone was absolutely the worse I ever got. My first and last time getting any food from them.

I just had the Italian salad and a pepperoni calzone. The Italian salad had the BEST ITALIAN DRESSING EVER! The calzone was good too but the salad was out of this world and huge portions could easily feed 2 but I ate it all myself.

Great east cost Italian style pizza. Its like getting pizza made from your mother if she was Italian. Unless she is then like your aunt lol. No place to eat inside but eating in the car was fine she stocked us up on supplies.
