the girls that work here are so nice and polite! the service is always good. they get your order done very quickly. i love the little outside seating areas behind the building. the ice cream is always amazing. i’ve never had a problem here! it’s been a favorite for years, all throughout my childhood into my adulthood. i love how they add new flavors of ice cream every once in a while!
This place is a jewel of Buckhannon. Come here to step back in time and appreciate what Dairy Queen was about from the start. The owner is out almost daily ensuring the building and surrounding areas are clean and kept fresh.This is a walk up only establishment with outside seating surrounding the tiny, yet fantastically retro, building. Order at one window, pick up at the other. It is Dairy Queen Ice Cream; nothing like a cone of the soft serve to flood the mind with summer childhood...
I'm not from the area, so I had never been to this location. I was expecting a full size restaurant, but it was one of those mini locations. We only wanted ice cream, so I didn't really look at the menu board to see what all food items they sold. I know at least they sell hot dogs 'cause they were smelling good. I would have bought a couple but my gf and I had just ate about an hour before. The lady working there was nice, so all in all it was a pleasant visit.
