I called at 715 pm enquiring if the restaurant was open. I was informed that the restaurant was in fact still open until 9pm. I called specifically knowing the limited options available in the area because I have a disabled person and service dog with me. Upon arrival- the same person informed our party the restaurant was in fact closed. I questioned her as to why she (specifically) just informed me less than 10 min prior- the restaurant was open. She shrugged her shoulders and said “I’m not sure”. Said person was not able to provide me with manager information and was categorically ignorant of hospitality and business in general. It is obvious why this is a failing restaurant and a complete embarrassment to the park system in general. It is no surprise why North Bend is losing funding with incompetent employees managing this park.
It was quiet, beautiful and the ambiance was perfect. The waitress was polite, friendly and kept our drinks coming, was attentive to our needs and performed her job perfectly. The food was reasonably priced and most of it was excellent. Even our pickiest grandchild ate every single bite of hers. Those that hadn't tried certain foods tried them and loved them. The only critique was the steak, which was poorly seasoned and cooked, but the rest of the food was excellent in all ways. Try the Cobb salad....I've never seen a better one, both in presentation and in flavor. The fried mushrooms were the highlight of my dish! The food came out quickly, it was hot, it was well seasoned and it came out exactly as we had ordered it(except the steak, of course). We will most definitely be coming back as often as we can.

Did not have high hopes upon eating here. I was wrong. Had the jalapeno burger; hands down the best burger I've had in about thirty years. Everything was right, the flavor, texture, juiciness. Reminded me of burgers from Bennigans in the early nineties.
They keep odd hours; I think that's where the negative reviews are coming from.
But, again, I am a cook/chef by profession, and this burger was IT.
Thanks, young chef. You earned the tip that I came back and handed you.
Thanks again.
It was a place to eat. The Pot Roast is a little bit of shredded meat on top of a giant bowl of potatoes. The burgers are okay, the Cobb salad doesn't have Bleu cheese. And the place is without a bar license so no wine or beer.

Service was excellent, I didn't realize the winter menu was different from the website menu, but the server and chef worked it out and was still able to accommodate my vegetarianism, which I greatly appreciated. The hard cider was pretty fantastic as was the veggie wrap. Partner got the mushroom swiss burger and loved it as well. We will definitely be back.

Delicious Thanksgiving buffet with turkey and ham and all the favorite sides. Sweet potato casserole and desserts were top-notch.
My husband and I met three other family members today, Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2:30. We sat down and shortly thereafter a waitress informed us that the buffet items were nearly gone and she was afraid there wasn't enough food left to serve all of us. She was very nice and apologetic. We assured her we knew it wasn't her fault. We then said we'd just order off the menu only to be informed that Sunday was buffet only. I had checked the web site the night before and it said you could order off the menu or enjoy the buffet. She told us they had called the manager to ask if they could offer menu items since they were quickly running out of buffet items and the manager told them they could not. I don't know who the manager is but I will find out. This was inexcusable! The poor wait staff was having to inform would-be diners that there was basically nothing left to eat at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Talk about poor management! I have to say, we have never experienced anything like this anywhere else. The manager should have been there explaining the problem, not leaving it to the servers, it wasn't their fault. This is a beautiful dining room but clearly needs a real manager to run it. I hope the present manager is replaced soon with someone who knows what they're doing.
I don't know what the restaurants like anymore but when I ate there it was really good. I really am sad to see that they did away with their buffet I really enjoyed that and said that my family

My family and I are camping and decided to have dinner here. My husband and I ordered the special, Shrimp Scampi. The server said it was a shrimp scampi served over spaghetti noodles with a side salad and bread. We also ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. We waited at least an hour for our food and the resturant was not even busy. The appetizer was good. The scampi came out and was literally spaghetti noodles (half were dry like they had been sitting out all day) with 8 plain shrimp on top. The smell was unpleasant (and I'm a seafood lover) and when I moved the noodles to look for sauce there was basically just water under the noodles. There was absolutely no flavor or scampi sauce. Salt, pepper, and parm did not fix this. We could not eat any of it. After our entree was served the salads came out. They were good and the ranch was delicious. Once we finished our salads, I asked the server about the bread he initially told us about. He apologized and said he forgot. The bread tasted homemade and was also good. The table next to us ordered burgers and they looked amazing. We were jealous and left hungry. This restaurant is probably a decent place to get burgers...avoid the shrimp scampi.
Drove 20 miles out of my way to eat at 9:58 am and was informed the restaurant is closed from 10am to 11am everyday. They had bad hours posted.
