It was quiet, beautiful and the ambiance was perfect. The waitress was polite, friendly and kept our drinks coming, was attentive to our needs and performed her job perfectly. The food was reasonably priced and most of it was excellent. Even our pickiest grandchild ate every single bite of hers. Those that hadn't tried certain foods tried them and loved them. The only critique was the steak, which was poorly seasoned and cooked, but the rest of the food was excellent...
Did not have high hopes upon eating here. I was wrong. Had the jalapeno burger; hands down the best burger I've had in about thirty years. Everything was right, the flavor, texture, juiciness. Reminded me of burgers from Bennigans in the early nineties.
They keep odd hours; I think that's where the negative reviews are coming from.
But, again, I am a cook/chef by profession, and this burger was IT.

Service was excellent, I didn't realize the winter menu was different from the website menu, but the server and chef worked it out and was still able to accommodate my vegetarianism, which I greatly appreciated. The hard cider was pretty fantastic as was the veggie wrap. Partner got the mushroom swiss burger and loved it as well. We will definitely be back.
