My wife ordered French toast and sausage for lunch and got Bob Boy which is like a Big Boy Hamburger, 2- 1/4 lbs, thousand island dressing and some onion rings. The onion rings were good, the hamburger patties were overcooked and the amount of dressing could have been double the amount. I ended up using ketchup since the burgers were so dried out. Thinking this was just someone having an off day and not watching the food close enough. Overall, I think the place is very good and it gets a ton of locals there.

I am so happy we stopped here for dinner. Everything we tried was delicious. The sweet potato fries were perfection. I wish that we had saved room for dessert as they offered interesting choices, but we were too full. Excellent waiter.

My wife said we should try Bob’s Lunch for breakfast on Sunday morning. Well let me tell you, probably the best breakfast I’ve had, not to mention the portions. I ordered 3 eggs, 2 sausage links and breakfast potatoes,(home fries). I also got the homemade bread for my toast. I also wanted to try the sausage gravy and asked for sausage gravy and biscuit. It was HUGE. The sausage gravy and biscuits filled an entire plate itself. Probably an entire potato for the breakfast fries. EVERYTHING was cooked perfectly. I don’t eat out much because of the bad food anymore and prices, but Bob’s Lunch is worth it. My wife got a two egg omelette that was loaded and breakfast fries and homemade bread and our breakfast cost $20. No need for lunch after this breakfast.

Recommended by locals. Portions are very good size for the money. Had the Rueben. One of the best I have had anywhere and for half the price as many other "high end" places I've tried. Nice wait staff as well. Have to go if you are in the vicinity.

So, the reviews are true. This is a great little place to grab breakfast or lunch. We stopped for lunch while on a road trip and this place lived up to the hype. I had the club sandwich and onion rings. He had the Slim something or other with ham on it with fries. We were both delighted with our choices. We want to go back again and try the dessert next time. The food on every customer's plate looked absolutely delicious. BTW, you will miss this restaurant if you aren't watching for it. It is a hidden gem!

I can’t speak for other breakfast and lunch establishments in the area, but Bob’s Diner was everything I needed and is standout in my eyes. I was so hungry and just wanted decent hot food, and they definitely delivered. Their prices are affordable, and they have a full menu. Their servers are friendly and attentive, and they have a good report with the regulars. I felt welcomed and actually went back twice during the three days I was in the area for both breakfast and lunch. I can’t recommend them enough! Also, they have a separate lot for parking, so if you don’t want to pay parking (which is 25 cents for 50 minutes), look for the sign!

Great food, locally owned, wonderful service. Bob’s is my go to for any meal, any time of day, but I almost always find myself ordering their breakfast. It’s so good!! And they have wonderful coffee that is always fresh & the staff are wonderful. It’s sometimes crowded because they’re so busy, but that’s a good thing. And the food is definitely worth the wait.
