Old style restaurant with good huge glass window view of the valley. The food was ok but nothing spectacular; the breakfast buffet was a little bit over-prices ($16.95) given its variety and quality. Service for dinner was very slow (more than 45 minutes’ wait) - despite not many people at that time.
Our party of ten was greeted and seated promptly without calling ahead. The staff was very pleasant, attentive, and engaging. The food portions were generous, and all ten of us were pleased with our meals. Given that six of the members of our party were children, I think that says a great deal. We eat here at least once on each trip, and we keep going back. While we did not have breakfast here on this trip, their buffet has always been a group pleaser. They have something...
Nice restaurant located at Canaan Valley Resort. The breakfast buffet is quite nice and the food is hot and good. You can choose either the cold or both hot and cold depending on appetite. All in all the service and food is good especially considering there are not a lot of options when in the valley.
