Ordered the chicken strips with fries and the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. Both were very good. Large portions for a great price. Definitely worth the stop if your in the area.
Parking: Gravel parking lot. Slots of spots between the upper lot and lower.

Nestled inside of the Cass Company store, The Last Run Restaurant is such a cool little place to eat while you’re waiting on the train or exploring in the area. Plenty of seating and gorgeous aesthetics but the real star here is the staff. They were so nice and accommodating and willing to answer any and all questions. We were early for the season but there was about to be an influx of prom photos coming so we tried not to stay too long in the way. But I will return in the future when I ride the train again.
Parking: 100 plus spots but you will have to cross the tracks to get to the building from the lot.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and plenty of eye candy for the kids to keep them engaged.

I felt as if I was an old prospector, wandering around in grandmas trinket shop. Food was goush - “good mush”. If you have no teeth or lack there of, this is the place for you. Server was nice.

Server seemed nice, but the food was sub-par and pricey for what it was. Still, would've earned 2 or 3 stars from me, if it weren't for the server / manager bumping our 20%+ CC tip (30%+ if you count cash at the table) by an additional $5. So, if you do have the misfortune to eat here, I would strongly suggest *NOT* paying with a card.

The Shay's Restaurant (formally The Last Run) was convenient to eat following a ride on the Cass Railroad. We each ordered delicious sandwiches that were so generous, that we had half and ate the remainder later. The restaurant was located within the Company Store. -Very friendly wait staff.-
Great food in a historic building. Eat while listening to the train whistle blowing. The gift shop was somewhat expensive. But a lot of things to choose from to remember your

The restaurant is conveniently located at Cass depot so perfect when coming off or going on a train ride!The staff is friendly and efficient. The food was good and not too expensive. We got burgers and the pork sandwich. The food came out fast and the server was quick with our Diet Coke refills, which is always appreciated!! We didn’t try the desserts but they looked delicious!
