Nice friendly people, but the subs just aren't what they used to be like on St Clair in Ohio. The subs over in Chester are chinsey with their toppings and just simply not as good as they used to be. Bring back the old Sal Maris, because the current just doesn't cut it.

Always liked this place and honestly I think it's just the economy and more towards inflation but even the owner should be ashamed for what they are charging for the product they put out very outrageous.. Definitely not worth the money.. made the mistake once not knowing how far they have fallen but I'll never go back.

Order should have only been$50.65 and we used a card and she put in a tip without asking and charged us 4 extra dollars for something the total was $62.01 and she couldn't explain why but besides the machine charges me it for using my card well the receipt said the machine only charged $1.81 ..the subs were soggy because they were barley toasted. She has a terrible attitude..We will never go back.

I ordered sal Marie's July 20 2023 the sandwiches were very light on everything including the meat it was ridiculous when I complained to the manager I got an argument my advice go to another sandwich shop don't waste your money here.Just recently it's gotten bad used to very good idk what's up but hope it gets worked out.
