This place was a hot mess when I pulled up the lady told me just to drive right thru without even offering my receipt. And then they get my order wrong, like how hard is it to read plain extra patty and cheeze. And on top of all that they just threw it all together in the box. I’m very disappointed in this McDonalds.

We stopped by there after my Daughter's Wedding on the way home from Cheat Lake to Elkins WV to get my Husband and Grandson something to eat. The place was clean. They had low staff working for both Inside and Drive-Thru. The people that helped us were two different people so they got confused a little with our order. But they were very nice and got the food out to us in a little over 5 minutes. The food was good. We ate in the car so we ate it quickly and it was warm not Hot. My Husband had the Grilled Chicken Wraps and Fries. The fries were cold. He gets Sweet and Sour Sauce to put on them. My Grandson got Nuggets and a Big Mac. His Nuggets were not hot they were warm but good, same thing with his Big Mac. Now he did try the New Sauce the Gold Sauce and he Loved it!! He tried the Mango Smoothie and he really liked it. So overall it was an ok stop this time.

Place was filthy and crowded, people were walking out due to nobody taking their orders. Managers yelling about food and something about times, drama with employees, arguing. Asked manager what was taking so long, was ignored and someone else was unhappy manager told them to “leave the restaurant please” everything was being handled poorly. One employee was sent home while people were waiting for their food. Talked to the gentleman that was i guess let go, he politely explained the problem and apologized. I counted six employees, four of them were standing up front waiting “for food” i guess nobody was preparing the food for whatever reason. Whole place was just crap shoot. I waited over 10 MINUTES for food which is ridiculous, someone else was waiting over 20 minutes just for nuggets. Bathrooms were dirty, no toilet paper. No tea in the lobby, sprite and root beer don’t work. Trash all over the lobby. Only thing good was the food that i eventually got.

Bathrooms were disgusting and had no toilet paper. Coke was flat, didn’t even drink it. Rest of the food was alright, but there was a hair in my snack wrap so also didn’t eat it.
Staff spent more time bickering about some local drama than worrying about the line in their drive through.

I want to thank Caleb and their teammates for providing excellent service during night shift on 08/26/2025. They provided me with the service I wanted ( a happy meal and a double cheese burger) in under 10 minutes. I had just come from the Bridgeport McDonald's where I had waited at the drive thru screen for 10 minutes. This service definitely made my family's night and we will come back again!
