I only went to Ryan's at this location one time on my spruce knob Trip back in 2017 and i been forgetting to Rate it i would give it 10-10 but instead i will 5 out of 5 the rolls are good the Chicken is good the Meatloaf is good they were greatly cooked and thats how its supposed to be if i Lived in Clarksburg i would come here alot.

We arrived at Ryan’s after driving a hour and half! The lady who took our order failed to get the correct amount of drinks. No line was a simple order 4 cokes! Well took a seat only for the area to be extremely unorganized and dirty, okay maybe a lunch rush. Well we got to the bar, I can even begin to express the disappointment. The choice of what was on the bar was very poor!! So, decided to try some pasta! It was completely mush with no flavor. My daughter got chicken it was completely dried out not even edible. Asked for a manager! A woman named Trish is who we got to meet! What a horrible example of management. Let’s start bye saying she did not know how to take criticism about the fact the food was not good!! She explained that they had PIZZA on the bar!! Who goes to Ryan’s to eat pizza? We had not touched drinks or anything she says well I will give you a refund! Well that only took another 20 minutes then she rudely come back to only refund us part of the balance! When she was asked basically she got another attitude and basically said she can do what she wants!! So when gone to Ryan’s know that management is a BIG FAT joke! However shout out to the line cooks who are trying harder then management!! When I think of what management should be, I think of a good example well put together and communication skills.

We are long distance travelers from Canada and have always tried to make Ryan's one of our stops, but not anymore. This place was dirty, the buns were the size of marbles, the chicken was undercooked with slimy skin. The ice cream machine was so dirty I almost gagged. There were kids taking food with their hands. The pie was crumbled onto a plate and there were croissants on a dish called bread pudding. This place is in dire need of a new manager or owner since the staff are only as good as their leaders and would yell at each other across the room. They should have been wiping down the buffet trays! The lady's bathroom was absolutely disgusting. We have read where a number of Ryan's restaurants have closed/gone bankrupt. This would be the reason. This is so sad because it used to be the best buffet in USA. We'll never be back!

The food is usually not fresh. The knats flying around the salad bar & the sewage smell from the bathrooms are AWFUL! For what they charge to eat it's ridiculous for the restaurant to be in a mess. The service is usually pretty good but they need to really fix some issues.

The food was fresh, and wonderful. The coffee was as fresh brewed too. Amazing service.
I waited for about 15 minutes for steak, I go up to get it and the man says that it’s the last one that they have done. As I’m eating the steak I notice that it’s definitely not done at all. Later that night I ended up absolutely sick, vomiting and everything else. Need less to say that steak gave me E. coli. 100% never going back there!

This restaurant was never great, but it used to allow a respectable, low-priced, quick meal. Conditions have plummeted. The steaks are mostly sinew, more fit for shoes than eating. Meatloaf was drastically overcooked that required us to break through a thick, black, burned crust. Vegetables lifeless. Deserts decent, but they now charge for a to-go cup for leftover tea or water to take with you...…. outrageous. Our waitress was caring and friendly - I hope she finds a better job. And, we could have had a far better meal next door at Grand China had we known it was also open on the holiday.
