We have eaten here twice. The food has been good, as was ambience. I love the wedge salad. I had the sea bass as my entrée on my last visit. It was very good, but rather expensive given that it cost $48 for, at best, a 3 oz portion of fish. I considered asking our server if this was standard but decided not to mess with the vibe of the occasion. Our server was overcommitted in another room, but friendly and helpful when she had time.. We will probably return.
I'm sad to say our last 2 visits were both disappointing. This time, we had a reservation for 13, 1 server, several meals were cold and they were out of multiple items. Wonder Bar has been our go to spot for special occasions/get dressed up and go to dinner for years.... just no longer exceeding expectations, especially at a Top Tier price point.
Old school elegance atop a scenic vista in Clarksburg. The only thing better than the view is the food. Stop in and experience top notch service in a quietly upscale atmosphere. The steaks are some of the best we've enjoyed anywhere! Make it your family favorite, too.
