The woman taking orders at the counter was incredibly friendly. She talked to me like we'd known each other our whole lives. I ordered a calzone and wish I'd taken a picture of it because wow, it was massive! It also had good flavor. I was excited to try the cheese sticks because they looked delicious, but realized once I got home that there was pepperoni under the cheese and I'm allergic to pork :(

We got off 79 near Big otter West Virginia. Couldn't find anything to eat except for one little pizza place that only took cash. Ended up driving about 10 mi out of the way. Find this hidden gem in clay, West Virginia. The pizza was absolutely amazing for Pubwich sandwiches were delicious and the employees were so nice. My wife and I had both ordered a chicken bacon ranch Pubwich for 2 for Tuesday. I didn't know that it came with lettuce, tomato, green peppers, and onions. I went up to the counter to order another one and was going But my wife have my for leftovers later. And they refuse to let me pay for a new one. They made me a whole nother one free of charge. They have table service. And it was very family friendly. There was a whole family in there playing Uno about eating their food. It was quiet and calm and it smelled amazing. Great experience. Will definitely be back back if we ever come through the area again

You order at the counter when you walk in. We were told that when we asked if we needed to wait for a table. We grabbed menus and seated ourselves.
Overall the food was average. We all had sandwiches. The sandwich made with their pizza dough... That was really good!

I live in Ohio, but have family in Clay. This Gino's has consistently been great for the 40+ years I have eaten there when visiting. It's always a must-have when I'm in town.

I give this 5 starts because clay county is so small and I would hate to see them loose the last place there is to eat there. The food was good no complaints, but there was only one other table eating and every table was dirty not with dishes but they just needed wipes and we had to ask for a towel to wipe our table then two employees was sitting down on a break and you would think that before they sat down to have a break then they would have wiped those tables off. I know they got paid minimum wage regardless but they would probably definitely get tips if they would actually clean the tables.

If I could do 0 stars I would. I asked for Italian sausage and recieved shredded meat. No servers for refil. She was more interested in the family wearing costumes. The spaghetti tasted like a bar butter, sauce was watery. I asked If the sausagw was spicy and was told no but it was very spicy. Was not given a greating when we entered. However mozzarella sticks and bread was OK. Backed spaghetti looked like cheese was added on it and then put in thew microwave. Food had a bland taste. Have no Intention on returning. In closing we felt like outcast and she gave the impression she didn't want us there and we were waisting her time.

The food is great when it's made correctly. I don't remember his name, but there is one sir who always makes sure the food is perfect. However, when he's not there, good luck. We always have SOMETHING wrong with the food. Ranch received after specifically asking at the window to please make sure we got blue cheese, toppings wrong, etc. But if he's working, it's perfection.
