Don't go to the Cross Lanes Bob Evans. Cold food, poor service, no gloves, it was bad...

Their rolls and biscuits are ALWAYS so stale..... Against my better judgement, my sister and I went here again for lunch, and again, the rolls were very stale, my roast beef sandwich and chicken and noodles were good. My sister ordered the baked lemon chicken, it was very tough with an odd texture. The waitress could have cared less. She was an old grey haired woman with her hair in a pig tail. When we went to the cash register, my sister was still charged for her drink even though her lunch was not edible. I would give this location zero stars if that was an option.

We love Bob Evans restaurants and eat there often when traveling. This one was the first stinker.
Two servers for the whole store and it seemed like one cook. Order two sandwiches (double cheese pot roast dip with a wildfire chicken salad and a club). It took almost 45 minutes to come out of the kitchen and when it did:
- chicken was tough
- toasted sandwich was burnt
- biscuits were hard
- fries were cold.
We would have talked to the server about it, but she never came back to ask. Paid the bill and left. Very disappointed.

We visited this location on the afternoon of 7/20 for a late lunch. Elizabeth, our server, was great. The rest of the building and staff not so much. Our hostess had to "check to make sure our table was cleared" which we found strange until we saw most had not been cleared and remained that way for the duration of our meal. The hostess seating us showed us to a table, and then proceeded to stand in my way of sitting and acted like I was in her way, rather than stepping aside so I could sit down. She left before my two companions even sat down. When it came time to pay the check, the person on duty at the register saw I was at the closest one to our table, and barked "over here". Perhaps "Oh, I'm sorry, that register is closed but I am open here"? or anything more polite? Bathrooms were dirty - however, many people were seen standing around in the back. Perhaps the manager was gone? Will not be returning to this location ever.

Waited over an hour for the food to be delivered. Even then, it was delivered at different times. Restroom was the absolute worst I've seen. Dining area definitely needs a face-lift.

Usually I love a Bob Evans. Until we stopped here during a road trip. We should have left after there were dried bugs and filth in the bathroom. Then came the waitress who seemed under the influence. My pot roast...not an onion in sight, not caramelized, nor the green ones. The carrots hard and cold. My man's eggs came scrambled instead of over easy. If you want to wait 40 minutes for cold and inaccurate food, then this is the one. You can also look through the bug and dust crusted windows while waiting.

My wife and I just left the cross lanes Bob Evan's restaurant and we arrived at 9:45 am for breakfast and also ordered thier cinnamon bites. The app took 45 minutes b4 it came out and we didn't receive our breakfast until noon. There were several groups that walked out in that time. The manager passed out what the customers thought was a free meal card for the extended wait times on food. As we were getting up to leave they gave us a bill for 45 dollars. I go to the register to exchange what I thought was the free meal card to cover the meal only to find the card was only a 5 dollar off and we still had. To pay 40 dollars for the meal . I would just like to say that I will never go back to Bob Evan's and will do my very best to discourage everyone i know and anyone thinking of going to not go the manager should have been ashamed for not staffing the restaurant better or been behind the counter helping the cook with food orders. Instead she was exposing the food that wasn't coming out in a timely manner and losing customers in the process. If the Bob Evan's corporate office see's this is have left a message on your guest services line and I hope you will call and discuss this miserable experience my wife and I along with the many other customers experienced on May 31 2025 in crosslanes wv store.

There was tension between employees we could feel immediately when we walked in. It was not a pleasant experience.

This location was the worst Bob Evans we’ve been to. After seeing the conditions of this place, I’m surprised corporate hasn’t shut this down. The building itself is dirty and not appealing to eat in and the food was even worse. I can’t believe they even allowed my children’s meals to be served. Attaching pictures to show the rotten fruit my kids were both given in their kids meals. The chicken tenders were disgusting as well and my child took one bite and spit it out. This may have been the first place my kids didn’t even eat their meals. When I showed the cashier a picture of the fruit and asked for a discount she acted like it’s no big deal and said there was nothing she could do. Eventually she gave a whopping $4 off. We paid over $50 for 3 of us to not even eat our meals.
How in the world is this place still in business?

Not as good as the Kanawha City WV Bob Evans
My pancakes were burnt i didn't even eat it after paying 40 dollars
Always good food. Breakfast choices are phenomenal. Service was excellent!
Has to be the worst location. Only three other people in the place besides me and my wife. Took 35 minutes to even place our order. Food came out 20 minutes later and was wrong.
Manager could be heard yelling at another employee that “she was the boss” had to get up and go up front and ask for refills as our waiter was no where to be found.
No rolls, or biscuits, out of multiple items. Worse service Iv had at a restaurant. I’m surprised this location is still open.
Food was cool and we got out bread after we was done eating.
