When I saw that we were getting a cookout here in the Charleston area I was extremely excited. The first cookout I ate at was in Charlotte, and I loved it! But then when I ate it our stores here in Charleston area I was sorely disappointed. The food was actually really bad here. It seems as that may have changed, my recent trip to the Cross Lanes store was excellent, other than the fries not being very fresh everything else was Great.
I happened to be in the area and saw the cars there. Pulled it up on Google and it looked good so I went through the drive through. OMG... I got a blueberry cheesecake milkshake, cheese curds, and the regular burger with cheese, bacon, and barbecue sauce. That was the best milkshake I've ever had and the best cheese curds I've ever had! The burger was real burger meat, grilled medium, and piled high with bacon. It was in the top 5 best burgers I've ever had out....
So a friend of mine and myself both ordered chicken sandwiches in the chicken was not done which was a little disappointing because we were so hungry but the clerk was super friendly as we went through the drive-thru
