What an absolute disaster! Went to check in at 4pm but the room wasn’t ready for another 50min. Had 15+ bugs in my room (in fairness the majority were lady bugs) and a lightbulb sitting on my bathroom counter. One of my hand towels had balled up hair in it, I can only assume from a previous stay.
Now, let’s talk about everything that isn’t working. All bowling lanes, one of the basketball hoops is hanging off to the side, pool flooring peeling off, pool sticks with no tips, darts with no tips, arcade with games that don’t work, pickleball “reserved for private event” a lot, and laser tag literally is just you on a tennis court shooting at air (even the people working couldn’t tell me and my party how the guns and receivers worked).
On top of all of this, all we heard from employees was “Sorry”, and “There’s nothing we can do unfortunately”. Like who is in charge and who is going to take ownership? A family vacation full of excuses and challenges with no one willing to contribute to a solution.
I’m really not one to leave reviews but this was needed. I wouldn’t recommend living here, visiting here, vacationing here, eating here, sleeping here, spending money here, or contributing in any kind of way to this place continuing to hold up the walls and open the doors.
I won’t be back. No one in my family will be back. And Google will get the same review.

I recommend staying somewhere else if you want to golf. We STARTED in the Executive Suites. Immediately smell of feet and mildew punched you in the face. The chairs, beds and couches were also damp. Our friends had ant problems in their room. Went to the front desk to get things sorted since we were staying 3 nights. The front desk associate was apologetic and gave us new rooms.
Alas, same thing with the smell and dampness in 3 more rooms. She then moved us to the hotel to see if it was better. Walked through 4 more rooms and same thing. I'm worried there is black mold all over this "resort". Finally, we found rooms that wouldn't stain my clothes of smell, even though there was still a damp stench. Felt obligated to stay at "resort" with my son since we drove over 4 hours.
The Staff was fantastic and so accommodating at the rec. center and shuttle service. 5 stars to them!
Went to get a FACIAL at the SPA Orange. I assumed I would be coming into a nice relaxing area where its quiet with spa music. It was nice until the manager walked in. First thing she said to the associate was, "what's the deal with Amber". The associate was more professional that she was by not engaging in the gossip with her while I was sitting there. For the rest of the ten minutes, I learned about how horrible the rest of the staff is at running the "resort", the health insurance, and why she takes days off because she doesn't want to go to the meetings.-- Wait 10 minutes until I am gone to talk badly about other managers and how Glade Springs is run, please.
Our third day, we were told the kids Camp was fun. ABSOLUTLY NOT. This is not a camp, it's a day care, great for children 6 and under. My 9 year old was so bored and was told he couldn't play with certain things at certain times. His friend was also told he could not go swimming if he didn't eat the lunch even after his mother spoke to the woman running the care center, Chesley, stating he has eating issues and packed snacks. This BLEW MY MIND because there are children that has eating sensitivities and sensory issues! Chesley needs training on how to deal with children that has sensory issues to food. We grabbed our children out as fast as we could so they could actually enjoy their vacation.
Our last day, I checked the bill to make sure everything was what I expected. I was charged twice with day care.... THATS A JOKE TO BEGIN WITH. Went and spoke to the manager at the front desk who knew all of our issues. Did not say a word to me, did not care about the issues we had- considering looking at all these 1-star reviews who had the SAME ISSUES. I'm confused how this place hasn't been gutted and shut down for mold.

Dined here on a Friday night and was surprised to find the restaurant empty save one other table. The atmosphere is most pleasant - elegant, yet comfortable with lovely views overlooking the golf course. I was part of a party of three (two of us were guests of a member who lives in the community of Glade Springs). We all ordered the Prime Rib. Each one of us ordered it cooked to their individual specification and two had to be sent back as they were cooked way too rare when specified medium and well done. Even after we sent them back to be recooked, they still came back too rare. The cuts of meat were roughly 40% fat. There was zero seasoning on the meat - virtually tasteless. Our sides of risotto were undercooked (risotto should not be crunchy) and way too cheesy (we had parmesan risotto). The fresh vegetables, however, were good. Service was the best part of this meal as our servers were most attentive, friendly and professional.

The food were disappointing, at best I would say it’s average . Crab cakes are very small, no crab flavor, just starch. The filet mignon were overcooked to black char. There is no lobster in lobster bisque soup. The 2 starters were too small portions, calamari was overcooked like onion rings, but the shrimps were good. Everything are too salty. The ladies room did not have soap to clean hands. The service was slow. The attitude of the 2 waiter and waitress were polite. But with the high price, it’s an easy Decision make it just a once visit.

Sandwich-Salad-Drinks were great for our group of 16 on weekend golf outing. Outside Brat/Beer Fest was fantastic also.

The fillet really needed some seasoning and could of used more marinade/butter rub. The meat was definitely tender. My partners salmon was overdone.Salad/dessert options were really solid. The veggie side options were smaller portions. Luckily the soup came in to save the day!Lovely staff and they had a great cocktail menu.

I ordered the prime rib special. The meat was cut at least 3/8” thick and covered half the plate! Perfectly cooked. Had left overs the next night. Saturday evening 10/2/2021.
