I went to the Dish Cafe last night for dinner while visiting family. I have celiac disease so it’s hard to find a good place but they had many gluten free options. I had the house salad with homemade ranch dressing, the firecracker shrimp and the house burger on a gluten free bun. Our waitress Kaitlyn was very knowledgeable about the menu options and just the sweetest. My meal was brought out separate to avoid any confusion which always makes me feel better. If you are in Daniels WV make sure to go visit! There something for everyone and it’s absolutely delicious!

The seemingly never ending work zone on the road running by made it a bit of a beast getting there. Around 5 o'clock, stop and go for over a mile. But once there we were seated promptly and even though the next shift came on at five the waitress from the bar side covered just fine. I had the sirloin with sweet potato fries and a house salad. Steak was cooked exactly as ordered and excellent. The fries were crisp and not overly sweetened with sugar as some restaurants present them. My wife made a meal of sides with the broccoli cheese and asparagus soup, grilled polenta and buffalo cauliflower. They were all served in time with my meal and she really liked the seasoning on the cauliflower. Would highly recommend if you are in this area and want more than hamburgers and dogs which seem to be the most popular local food.

I truly enjoyed our dining experience with Rachael! Great service, thank you! I had the porketta sandwich with the homemade ciabatta bread! So very delicious! My side of roasted Brussel sprout were perfectly roasted. I've have traveled throughout the US and the world. I think this is fine dining at is best!

When googling restaurants to try, this place popped up. Thought I would give it a try. It was around 4pm. I walked in, no one greeted me. I looked around, one couple seated in bar area, one gentleman at the bar. No bartender, no waitstaff, host, or hostess around. I went to the restroom, came out and still no one around. I could here voices coming from the kitchen. About 20 minutes had passed, still no one anywhere. I decided to try somewhere else.

Fine dining in little Daniel's WV. Started with the chicken lettuce wraps...very good!! Chicken parm was more than ample size and delicious. Shrimp po boy was good as well. Kids meal chicken tenders were also a hit!!

This was our first time here. Julie was our server. (Yes, she did love me!) If you ever come here, get the kettle chips! These chips are da bomb! My sandwich was tasty. My wife had the bread pudding and a scoop of ice cream. We are coming back.

Service is top notch and the food is spectacular!!!Our table ordered the grilled shrimp and polenta, ribeye, mac n cheese, pretzels and queso, hummus, avocado brownie and sticky toffee pudding - and the portions were huge. Everything was yummy and looked amazing!!! Definitely check them out. We will be back.

Lovely restaurant where you'd least expect. The pecan crusted trout was had a wonderful crispy outside and the fish was flaky and tender. Atmosphere was warm and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend if you're passing through or in the area.
