I think I just came on a slow day that the ladies were very distracted. I preferred the other breakfast place over all but I did like the à la cart options for this place.

Only been in here twice. Both times getting something quick to go. The first time was some sort of cake cup special. I remember it being unique and that I liked it.Went in this afternoon in search of something sweet. They had some premade items at the counter....a muffin, some cookies and iced cinnamon buns. I had no interest in the muffin until she told me it was a 'french toast' muffin. Sold. The picture doesn't show it but this is a nice large muffin. I know one thing is this muffin was incredible! I ate it several hours after purchase. Few seconds in the microwave.
I have friends that eat lunch here regularly and they have high praise

Oh wow went during maple syrup days. Yum the candied bacon blt was excellent, the maple chili hot dog so so. The maple latte delish. Very crowded but still got a table, fast service and atmosphere.

We stopped here while on a train ride. It wasn’t our scheduled restaurant, but everyone was raving about the great cinnamon rolls we just had to try. Unfortunately, they were sold out by the time we got there!! So, if you’re on the train ride, go get cinnamon rolls first! We ordered delicious hot chocolate, and a slice of salted caramel cheesecake. Both were SO good!

The Simply Sweet Cafe is a hidden gem in Durbin! We started stopping for coffee when passing through Durbin to visit family. Their Frappes, coffee and service are amazing! We were recently able to try the food as well, and it was also great. We hit one of the fall Friday coffee flight events, and if you don’t try it while available you’re missing out! Every drink sampled was delicious!

Probably the slowest service I have ever gotten at a cafe, waited well over an hour for a bagel and a biscuit, that was alright at best. They were not even busy and had 3 people in the kitchen. Simply just no idea how to run a restaurant.

What an awesome gem hiding in the mountains. We were passing through from Canaan to Elkins. We saw this and stopped by. BEST. DECISION. EVER!!!
Sausage gravy and biscuits were amazing. Biscuits were light and fluffy and the sausage crazy was fresh made and delish!
Bacon was cooked to perfection.
