First time eating there and it was wonderful. I had the chopped sirloin steak with the toppings, steamed broccoli , and baked potato. The food was amazing and well worth it. We were traveling through the area and it just happened to be dinner time so we stopped in. Would highly recommend it. The location is kinda out there a little and it must be a locals favorite. This place blows it out of the water. We truly love it! It's a staple of visiting Monroe county, which is 2 hours away. The fried chicken is amazing. Yesterday was a very tender, center cut sirloin with a blue cheese topping and homemade cooked cabbage. Way better than a chain restaurant. For dessert, was a Andes mint pie that was exceptional.
I visited the restaurant for my first time on Sunday. The hamburger steak was cooked to perfection! No other restaurant has the char-grilled taste like this! My friend got the hamburger, the best he has had! The owner was super nice, in having a conversation! I will be back, and highly recommend Pickaway.
