This place is an absolute gem and it is without a doubt the best food in the area, I wish i lived closer!! The staff and management went over and beyond for us to make sure everything was perfect!! its been a couple days and were still talking about it!!!! We ordered barratta salad, Homemade gnocci and rigatoni with spicy blush sauce with 2 sides and 2 salads. Grounds were impeccable and the inside of the resturant made you feel like you were eating at your families house! I hope i can make it back one day! Thankyou for spectacular dinner!

The Gaines Estate is FABULOUS. From the staff, food, and atmosphere, everything was perfect. My husband and I went for a late valentines dinner, and everything was incredible. Our server Rhiannon was so helpful, and the estate was beautiful. I HIGHLY suggest the Burrata Appetizer and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Everything was beautiful and tasted incredible. Perfect for a date night, or a celebratory meal!

We had an incredible dinner experience at The Gaines Estate! Our waitress, Faith, was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. There was an extensive and reasonably priced cocktail and mocktail menu. For starters we tried the goat cheese & arugula flatbread as well as the wings. Both were delicious! We went with the dinner special for the night which was breaded chicken over pasta with a blush sauce. This is definitely the go-to fine dining restaurant in Fayetteville. I cannot recommend The Gaines Estate enough!

Awesome location for an upscale evening. Killer cocktail lounge / bar with some excellent creative drink options and a very knowledgeable bartender. Only had the burger but it was excellent and will be back for more entrees. Steaks look amazing.

How lucky for me that I discovered this absolute gem of a restaurant! From the moment I walked through the door I knew I was in for something special. This historic property is stunning. Cozy bar with the most fantastic Old Fashioned. So good I ordered a second! Kudos to the bartender who knows what she’s doing. Loved my table in a light filled room surrounded by windows overlooking the hillside. Such an elegant space with real candles that made it so cozy. But the highlight was the food. The cranberry candied walnut salad with pomegranate champagne vinaigrette was delicious. Not too sweet. Perfectly balanced flavors. For my entree I couldn’t resist the Southern Burger which comes with a fried green tomato. The little bit of crunch was delicious!! And the white BBQ sauce was amazing. I don’t usually drink coffee after dinner but I’m glad I took the waitress up on her suggestion as it was the best cup of coffee I’ve had in recent memory. Rich and flavorful. Such a treat. Enjoyed getting to meet that owner as well as the talented chef before I left. Wish I lived closer as I would be here frequently but will definitely return next time I’m in the area!!

The Gaines Estate is a lovely gem of a wedding venue in West Virginia. Not your typical barn venue that you find around here (thank the lort!) Lots of space for your guests, beautiful aesthetics for your fab photographer to capture the besstttt angles, and a hella attentive staff to take care of you, your vendors, and your guests. If I was planning a wedding in WV, I'd choose the Gaines Estate as my venue. Also, their wedding coordinator Ali is a rad human and we love working with her!
