Delicious pizza and beer. Great atmosphere and service!
Great spot for a quick bite. Limited bar options and food specials that appear to change. No full dinner-type menu when we were there in July 2025.
Mainly stuck to the options they had, mostly bar food, BLT Flatbread, cheese curds, cauliflower wings. All tasty and good. Nice back patio with a full stage. Live music.
Looks like they're going to really create something unique and different once they get a flow on food offerings and clientele.
If you ever find yourself in Cool Ridge, WV (yes, it’s a real place and yes, it’s as cool as it sounds), do yourself a favor and swing by this brewery. My sister and brother-in-law schlepped beers and seltzers all the way from their Florida brewery for my brother’s wedding—because what’s a family gathering without a little fermentation? Then, disaster struck: a CO2 regulator went down at the worst possible moment (because of course it did). Total beer emergency. Enter this amazing local brewery, who came through in the clutch like the CO2 fairy godparents we didn’t know we needed. Total legends. Breweries helping breweries—it’s a beautiful thing. Support local. Drink good beer. And if you're in Cool Ridge, go say hi. They saved the wedding beer. That’s basically hero status. 🏆🍻 And if you are ever in Sopchoppy, FL. Go grab a tasty bev at Civic Brewing Co.! #civicbrewingco #weatheredgroundbrewery
We visited Weathered Ground on the advice of a bartender in Lewisburg and are glad we did--it was an hour out and back for us, but worth the trip--the place is large, airy and pleasant, with delicious beers, friendly staff and good food--their pimiento cheese pizza special was delicious! We would definitely make the drive out again.
Awesome owners and staff!
Weathered Ground was hands-down the highlight of our West Virginia brewery stops. Set in a massive barn with a sprawling backyard full of picnic tables, it’s the perfect place to post up for an afternoon with friends. There’s plenty of parking and seating, both inside and out, making it super group-friendly.
The food menu hits the comfort zone—cheese curds, wings, and pizzas pair perfectly with their extensive and well-balanced tap list. While there’s something for everyone, IPAs and sours really shine here. We loved Bearer of Fruit – Strawberry Lime, and Wheel’n and Dill’n, a boldly pickle-forward sour that was fun and refreshing. If you’ve never had a pickle beer, this is the place to give it a go. Weathered Ground delivers big on space, flavor, and vibe.
Passing thru and stopped. We enjoyed all our beers and this space is amazing. We will come back.
This was a nice find during our travels. The Amber is quite nice, and the dry irish stout does not overwhelm. Great service. We didn't try the food, but they have good-looking pizza and other options.
We were traveling thru WV (from NC) and really enjoyed the beer and food!
Very good beer... very friendly.. pizza was good

Great experience, a breath of fresh air when it comes to breweries. Best brewery on trip through OH, VA, WV. Pizza looked really good, wings were delicious.

Great beer, great food, great service!
Large taproom with plenty of room for families. Wide selection of beers and good appetizers and pizzas.
A must stop brewery if you're in the area. Really enjoyed their beers, food, and grounds!
